improper fixes

See this diff. Your bot created junk from junk. In this case, the numeric values assigned to |volume= and |issue= are the same except that |volume= includes the numero character. It appears that the source does not specify a volume (can't really tell because the actual article is not archived). Perhaps it is best to skip cases like these:

|volume=№ 3 |issue=3

Can the bot de-orphan articles in a specific list

I've generated and validated a list of 1731 non-orphans tagged as orphan, at Quarry 81875. These articles have one inlink from a "List of XXXX" article. Can the bot de-orphan? ☆ Bri (talk) 20:51, 10 April 2024 (UTC)

@Bri: No, because the functionality in AWB's general fixes "Removes {{Orphan}} if article has more than 2 incoming links". That's why I use this query. GoingBatty (talk) 20:57, 10 April 2024 (UTC)
Not a problem, I can feed AWB (JWB) my list and at least it's semi-automated from there. ☆ Bri (talk) 21:08, 10 April 2024 (UTC)
@Bri: I just removed the tag from the 29 articles in the query above. GoingBatty (talk) 21:22, 10 April 2024 (UTC)

Problem with Batty Bot

Hello, GoingBatty,

I've recently run into a problem caused by this bot that has never happened in the past. What Batty Bot is doing is posting maintenance templates/message right in the middle of an AFD tag. I only realized this when closing AFD discussions and let's just say that it really messes up the closure. XFDcloser doesn't know how to handle a broken-up AFD tag on an article so these closures have to be closed manually. If you want a for instance, you can look at Granite Rock Co. 10 but it's happened 3 or 4 times in the past few days. Any idea why this is happening? Thanks. Liz Read! @Liz: Thanks for letting me know. I'm not sure if it's a change to AWB's general fixes or a change with the AfD template or its comments. I'll file an AWB bug and see what the developers have to say. GoingBatty (talk) 01:49, 11 April 2024 (UTC)
