Max Marlow (filmmaker) moved to draftspace[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Max Marlow (filmmaker). Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it is promotional and reads like an advertisement and you may have a possible Conflict of Interest. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. signed, Rosguill talk 17:33, 20 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Rosguill There is no COI. Back in 2021 when I came across the viral 3D animated short film Thatching Eggs (2020) [1] I created this draft and given the sufficient coverage I thought it might be notable enough for an article. But it wasn't so dropped it and draft was deleted. Recently after 3 years same guys name popup in Oscar shortlisted films, so requested a undelete and rewrite it and submitted it again. I am not doing anybodies promotion here, been long enough here to understand that. In my opinion oscar nomination makes it notable enough to be on Wikipedia. Instead of right away allegations you could have asked me how I came across the subject and why after 3 years again resubmitting it where other editors has also curbed the text from the 2021 version. --BeLucky (talk) 17:55, 20 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You have claimed File:Max Marlow.jpg as your own work. Can you explain how you came to possess the rights to this image? signed, Rosguill talk 18:21, 20 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You also created Max Marlow (musician) prior to your creation of Max Marlow (filmmaker). Can you explain how that fits in to the explanation above? signed, Rosguill talk 18:24, 20 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't know much back then. That's all I can say. Now it looks stupid for sure looking back to it. --BeLucky (talk) 18:36, 20 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Rosguill I don't even remember that I did that. Must have been confused it with musical animation. --BeLucky (talk) 18:39, 20 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Rosguill I have been nominating my own articles for deletion (e.g. Glen T. Martin) upon realizing the mistakes I have made. I have no problem in accepting my mistakes and happy to learn from them. --BeLucky (talk) 18:52, 20 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Rosguill As far as I can remember, it's from a frame of a TV interview. --BeLucky (talk) 18:28, 20 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, then you do not own the rights to the image and it should be nominated for deletion. signed, Rosguill talk 18:30, 20 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Rosguill Yes. That I have to agree now. Was just an amateur/starting editor and still finding my way around, what goes where and how. --BeLucky (talk) 18:32, 20 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
