RE: Conflict with active banana[edit]

First of all, and with all due respect, it is none of you're business what kind of editing relationship I share with User:Active Banana. We both edit similar articles and so often we do encounter each other. He/she merely asked me if I could take a second look at an edit I made, I did and then I spoke to him/her on their talk page. Secondly reporting him/her to AIV was incorrect as his/her edits did not constitute vandalism. Thirdly no-one owns wikipedia, I don't think Active Banana has ever acted like they own it. September 2010[edit]

Hello. It appears that you have been canvassing—leaving messages on others' talk pages to notify them of an ongoing community decision, debate, or vote. While friendly notices are allowed, they should be limited and nonpartisan in distribution and should reflect a neutral point of view. Please do not post notices which are indiscriminately cross-posted, which espouse a certain point of view or side of a debate, or which are selectively sent only to those who are believed to hold the same opinion as you. Remember to respect Wikipedia's principle of consensus-building by allowing decisions to reflect the prevailing opinion among the community at large. Seeking people that you think have been "in conflict with" Active Banana in an attempt to get them to join a campaign against Active Banana is totally unacceptable. Please do not act in this way again. JamesBWatson (talk) 14:46, 16 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah. What he said. SelectSplat (talk) 00:43, 17 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
