It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

Fair use rationale for File:Humpty.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Humpty.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

Conflict of interest[edit]

Hello, Beckbah. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.

I noticed that some of your AfC articles are identical to ones created by an editor that has been blocked for having a COI username. I am assuming that you are either the same editor or have the same issue of COI, so I would highly recommend that you look over our policy on editing with a conflict of interest as well as our WP:NPOV policy. This doesn't mean that you can't edit, just that you have to be very careful. Offhand I'd say that some of the edits you made to Lythgoe's article read as promotional in tone. I would also like you to read over our reliable sources policy, as there were issues with the links that were used in the article. Stuff like IMDb is to be used sparingly and only for trivial data. Links such as Broadway World cannot be used as a reliable source as they also sell tickets (meaning they're a merchant source) and we can't verify their editorial policy.
