Proposed deletion of Contrasts: Comparative Essays on Italian-Canadian Writing

The article Contrasts: Comparative Essays on Italian-Canadian Writing has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

I can't see why this merits an article. There are no independent references to support the self-serving claims of alleged notability. Looks like the sort of blurb you'd find on Amazon

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

List of Canadian writers

If you want to add more writers to the list, please be aware that the columns are delimited not with number-1's or letter-i's, but with a character called a "pipe". You should be able to type one by going shift-backslash on your keyboard, but you also have the alternative of copying and pasting the pipe from another list entry if you have to — but you're actually breaking the template if you use the wrong character to delimit a new entry. Hi Beppino! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you.
