I am sure that you know how stalking on wikipedia is not allowed. All in all between 5 and 10 users are looking all my edits and I am OK with that, but I am not OK with your stalking because of your editorial history on wikipedia. This has been my first and last warning about your stalking !!!

In my personal thinking you have created trap in article SAO Western Slavonia so that your "favorite" administrator can block me but it has failed. Somebody of other users which are stalking me will revert your trap :)--Rjecina (talk) 14:53, 2 April 2008 (UTC)

I also added this. SWik78 (talk) 15:33, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
Let me see... If have recieved on 16 March revert ban and only 2 days latter you have given me first warning [1] ?? Yes after seeing mistake you have reverted your warning few hours latter but this has not changed fact about warning.
On other side your revert in article SAO Western Slavonia is telling many things about your editorial style !! It will be very interesting day when you write demand for becoming administrator :)
Do not worry stalking problem will be solved. --Rjecina (talk) 15:40, 2 April 2008 (UTC)

Sounds good to me. I'm honestly not as familiar with deletion of redirects as other areas so was not quite sure what the usual procedure was. I decided to take it to a deletion discussion to err on the side of caution. Everyone else seems to agree with you so far, though, so I'll tag it. Cheers! Redfarmer (talk) 19:14, 4 April 2008 (UTC)

Re: Your recent edit on Croatia Records

My initial message is here. SWik78 (talk) 16:09, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

Hello, I was actually referring to vandalism. If you check the history of the page, Rjecina (talk · contribs) has consistently been deleting anything that was negative towards Croatia Records. He removed 2 sections beforehand which are common knowledge to people living in Croatia (or rest of former Yugoslavia for that matter). Furthermore, (s)he classified my edits as vandalism, when in fact his edits of the page were just that (deleting a large chunk of information after a certain part of the page). So I would definitely say RVV is the proper edit information for my edit. --64.46.2.216 (talk) 21:02, 4 April 2008 (UTC)

With that kind of content, the article should be deleted and recreated as a real article about a real town. We don't need that in the history, and nothing there is salvageable. —BradV 17:47, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

Reverting vandalism

Hi SWik78, Im not going to be as rude as the fella above but just like to ask as your so good and quick at reverting vandalism what tools are best in helping do this? Do you use the old school way or something like vandalproof or anyother ones out there. What do you think is best? Keep up the great work. Reply here, it will be easy. Thanks Roadrunnerz45 (talk) 04:42, 12 April 2008 (UTC)

Ha ha, thanks for agreeing to not be rude. I appreciate that.
As far as anti-vandalism tools are concerned, the only thing I actually use is rollback. I do most of my editing at work and I don't really want to bog down my work computer with any non-work related programs so I just monitor recent changes and use rollback. I've never tried Vandalproof or Twinkle or any of those type of tools but they it sounds as though they're pretty good for getting the job done. It sounds like you're fishing for some information on what tool you should use to increase your arsenal in vandal fighting and I think that is very comendable, good for you. It seems as though you're using rollback as well and you're doing a very good job so far.
I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help and I do apologize for taking this long to answer you but I was away from any computers for the last 3 days and this is the first time I've even checked my email. Anyways, I will try to be more helpful in the future so feel free to approach me if you wish.

No, what happened was apparently an edit conflict...I most certainly did NOT write any of the text that you claim I did. I edited it out, but got a page saying something about an edit conflit, so I saved again. Apparently the vandalism was still in my second save, therefore you mistakenly assumed that I wrote the vandalism. Go further back in the edit history and you'll see that I am, in fact, correct. You really need to stop assuming bad faith. 71.221.19.132 (talk) 20:51, 17 April 2008 (UTC)

Hello

It seems to me that you have previous experience with Rjecina. The user continues to hinder the article progress work. Also, people are attacking me personaly in order to stop me from editing. I find that the personal attacks take too much of my time. What should i do? The article of interest is Serbs of Croatia. Help Mike Babic (talk) 14:55, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

Hey Mike!
I haven't had all that much experience with Rjecina that would make me qualified enough to propose an effective solution but it seems to me that the two of you (and a handful of other editors) are involved in a pretty heated content dispute. I know it can be frustrating asking for outside help (by outside help I mean WP:RFC or WP:ANI) on issues like these because most people aren't willing to touch Balkan related articles with a 10 foot pole and it can take days to get an answer (if you get one at all!). For that reason, I stay away from any political discussions in that area of interest as much as I possibly can because I believe that most people, including myself, cannot exhibit the composure and clarity of mind such as people like Fut. Perf. can. So I guess my advice to you is to keep going through the regularly prescribed channels of RFC and ANI (only when appropriate, never for a content dispute) and asking neutral editors for help. You did a good thing by contacting me but I don't think that I can do much else to help you other than to tell you to follow procedure and try to keep a cool head. The one thing that you should never ever do is try to discredit another editor with whom you are in a dispute by calling him a vandal or an SPA account or NPOV violator or falsely accusing him of personal attacks or trying to get him blocked or topic-banned. That will serve more to discredit yourself than the other person.
In my honest opinion, I don't really think that you are being attacked personally but I do think it's true that your edits are being heavily scrutinized. I won't go into whether or not the scrutiny is justified but I will admit that it's very easy to take something like that personally, especially if your main purpose on Wikipedia is to "spread the truth". For now, ignore the perceived personal attacks and concentrate on article improvement. Don't fool yourself into thinking that, on articles as controversial as former Yugoslavia related ones, you will not be challenged by someone who thinks you're POV no matter how well you think you sourced your information. These articles are controversial for a reason and, again in my opinion, most people editing them are not 100% neutral and that includes you and me as well. Hence, I stay away from them as much as possible.
Take whatever you can from what I just said and feel free to ask me for more if you want but I may be of somewhat limited help.
Peace! SWik78 (talkcontribs) 16:08, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

Hey, firstly I hope that this is the right way to contact you.

I have a major problem since 3 people are attacking me as an editor. They seem to lable my work as "POV", "Vandal", "nationalist", etc. All of my work is 100% cited and I'm willing to disscuss any subject as well. In addition, I'm a moderate who uses both Croatian and Serbian sources. One user has been undoing my work without disscussion. Thus, my frustration is created. Mike Babic (talk) 22:30, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

Hi Mike!
Yes, this is a good way to contact me. I don't know that I can give you an answer that you will like, though. I hope that one day soon you will realize something I have come to accept and that is that there is no way that you will ever be able to introduce enough proper citations to an article as controversial as Serbs of Croatia without someone challenging your statements. There will be editors constantly questioning the validity of the sources and your interpretation of them and, subsequently, calling you or your work POV and nationalistic. If you're looking to leisurely edit an article here and there without any conflict then I'm sorry to tell you that you've picked the wrong group of articles to edit. If it's conflict free editing you're looking for, then you should be editing the Ice cream article - there's no nationalism or POV there, only some annoying but easy to deal with vandalism. But if you do want to stick with this, you absolutely must accept the fact that adversarial attitudes will develop towards you regardless of the quality of your work. Unfortunately, most people editing Balkan related articles are not here to help Wikipedia but they're here for politically motivated reasons, they all have "a horse to ride". So you either must develop a thicker skin and let some s**t slide or you will get frustrated enough to leave this project alltogether as so many have done before you. You're doing decent work but you're letting your frustrations show in some discussions. And I still don't think that you're being attacked personally by the group of editors you speak of, I still think that they're just criticising your body of work which, as good as it may be, will forever be criticized as long as someone disagrees with the content of it, not the quality. Just keep discussing the issues calmly and civilly even if your opponents get excited and stay focused on the isssue at hand. Report genuine and only genuine abuse to WP:ANI and, if you haven't yet, familiarize yourself with WP:ARBMAC so that you know why there is little tolerance by administrators for people who are not willing to play nice with others when it comes to Yugo-related articles.

Excuse me, can you explain to me why you reverted my edits to the numbers of Turkish people. I was only removing material from highly unreliable sources in good faith. --Tsourkpk (talk) 20:00, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

I only reverted this edit of yours which removed over 99% of the aritcle's content and made the article look like this. This was your following edit in which you changed the numbers of Turkish people. That edit was reverted here by Dustihowe (talk · contribs), not me.
Hope that answers your concerns. SWik78 (talkcontribs) 20:04, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
I see. That was an unfortunate accident, which I tried to fix, but it looks like you beat me to it. But then why did you revert all the way back to this version [2]? In any case, I hope it's alright if I bring it up to this version [3]? --Tsourkpk (talk) 20:10, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

Hello, Swik78.

I wanted to personally thank you for taking part in the project-wide discussions regarding my candidacy for bureaucratship. After bureaucratic discussion, the bureaucrats decided that there was sufficient significant and varied opposition to my candidacy, and thus no consensus to promote. Although personally disappointed, I both understand and respect their decision, especially in light of historical conservatism the project has had when selecting its bureaucrats. If you have any further suggestions or comments as to how you think I could help the project, please let me know. Once again, thank you for your support. -- Avi (talk) 17:54, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

My recent RfA

Thank you for supporting my RfA, which unfortunately didn't succeed. The majority of the opposes stated that I needed more experience in the main namespace and Wikipedia namespace and talk space, so that is what I will do. I have made a list and I hope I will be able to get through it. I will go for another RfA in about three month's time and I hope you will be able to support me then as well. If you have any other comments for me or wish to be notified when I go for another RfA, please leave them on my talk page. If you wish to nominate me for my next RfA, please wait until it has been about three months. I will not be checking back to this page so if you would like to comment or reply please use my talk page. Thanks again for participating in my RfA! ·Add§hore· Talk/Cont 06:53, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

Request for attention

There is an edit war going on in the article Ukrainians of Brazil; could you review the talk page [5] and render an opinion? The other person Opinoso (talk) is making accusations of racism and reverting without serious discussion. I noticed from his talk page that he has done this before and that you have dealt with him.Faustian (talk) 04:40, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

Thanks! And now that guy is at it again.Faustian (talk) 01:11, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
Actually we seem to have resolved the issue after a lengthy edit war.Faustian (talk) 12:50, 23 May 2008 (UTC)

Thanks!

Thanks so much for your support in myRfA, which closed successfully this morning. TravellingCarithe Busy Bee 16:45, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for supporting my RfA, which went through 93/12/5. I'll be steadfast in this trust the en.Wikipedia community has given me. Cheers! Gwen Gale (talk) 01:11, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
