Speedy deletion of Energetic imprint[edit]

A tag has been placed on Energetic imprint, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you.     JCuttertalk to me}     03:58, 27 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Vagina worthy[edit]

A tag has been placed on Vagina worthy, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

April 2009[edit]

If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors;
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam); and,
  4. avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. For more details about what, exactly, constitutes a conflict of interest, please see our conflict of interest guidelines. Thank you.     JCuttertalk to me}     03:59, 27 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Energetic imprint. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion, and make your case on the page's talk page. Thank you.     JCuttertalk to me}     04:01, 27 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Energetic imprint[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Energetic imprint, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Seems to be original research; little evidence of a consistent definition of the term in relevant fields.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you use Wikipedia for advertising, as you did with Vagina worthy, you will be blocked from editing. Dlohcierekim 15:45, 27 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted article[edit]

Basically, it was full of catch phrases, fluff, and attempts to persuade the reader to embrace a product/subject. You say this is something that will one day revolutionize thinking. That may well be. When that day comes, there will be reliable third part coverage providing verifiable information that show the subject to be notable. You need to research third party sources for independent and verifiable information concerning the subject.

Another problem is neutrality of point of view. The tone of the deleted article was whole-heartedly enthusiastically about how wonderful the product/subject is. It reads like a sales pitch. Wikipedia articles must be neutral in tone, and a simple recounting of documented facts. If there is opinion, it needs to be sourced-- who says this about the subject? when? where? You need to carefully review the guidelines linked above and the Manual of style. There is also a striking similarity between your user name and the name of the article. This suggests the possibility of a conflict of interest. IT is best to not write about subjects with shich one has an off-wiki connection. Hope this helps. Cheers, 13:38, 28 April 2009 (UTC)
