However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. I have reverted your renaming of the page as European colonies of the Indian Subcontinent, and various edits to the article because while I understand your wish to distinguish between the modern Republic of India and the historical region of India/Indian subcontinent, I don't believe your approach is supported by usage in academic sources. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
