Hi Boztown, thanks for your message. The {{cleanup-link rot}} template was added to the article because many of its citations currently expose visible portions of bare URLs (i.e. the "http", "www", "/", "directory/file/path", ".html" etc. portions of bare "machine-code" links). The issue can be resolved by replacing those ugly blue file-path strings with written text labels. For example, we can write http://en.wikipedia.org/ as a link to Wikipedia, and though it will function, it incorrectly exposes a bare URL. The same link however, can be written as Wikipedia (with a text label) to resolve the link rot issue... at which point, the maintenance template can be removed. It's not the quality of your references that's being challenged or disputed, it's just the way they are currently being displayed.  -- WikHead (talk) 10:49, 23 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
