Curioso

Estive agora arrumando o Abel Ferreira (voltei lá a pôr as referências no "playing career", desta vez tendo todo o cuidado em escrever exatamente o que elas transmitiam, quero ver ele tirar desta vez, se tem coragem! E arranjei mais, sim, como se pode ver estou a estragar e piorar o artigo como se não houvesse amanhã), e olha lá a baita surpresa com o que aconteceu ao perseguidor. Deixo que sejas tu a ver/descobrir, a última "contribuição" dele lá é no dia 30 de Janeiro, clica depois no "talk" do cidadão e espanta-te!

Parece que já não é a primeira vez que lhe acontece isto, mas eu é que não percebo nada disto e ele é que é o bonzão que não comete erros (eu também fui bloqueado uma vez, sim senhor, por sumários idiotas, mereci totalmente). GiantSnowman, Except [1] [2] these two sources, the rest are just summaries. I translated these two and they are mainly talking about the 2020 and 2021 editions. Since this tournament does not directly pass the first two criterias under our league notability, it must meet broader WP:N criteria. If one more reliable source (not just a summary) is shown, I think this will pass. This is almost ready to be moved into mainspace. I also request the submitter to explain little bit more about the tournament. Though it is fine in that aspect, this is just my request so that the readers can have a better idea about this tournament. Kichu🐘 Need any help? 01:10, 31 March 2021 (UTC)

@Kashmorwiki: The tournament has the same "use" as Copa Paulista, which is already in the mainspace, for an example. It is a state cup which assures qualification to the next year's Campeonato Brasileiro Série D, the nation's fourth division. The 2020 and 2021 editions are the editions which received more attention because they were the ones where the tournament was independent from Campeonato Alagoano, the state league. All of this is explained in the "history" section.

BrazilianDude70, If Im right Copa do Brasil is the national cup of Brazil right? Under our league criteria for notability, only the leagues whose members are eligible for national cups and leagues that are a country's highest level are considered notable. So this league needs to pass the general notability criteria as it does not comes under these two. An article like this will only pass at AFC, if it has recieved enough coverage. What you have done is a better job. Believe me, I had done a WP:Before to add some sources to make it pass GNG, as I am very interested in football same as you. You can see that I was the one who added a source from soccerway. Unfortunately I couldnt find a better source due to language barrier. I think a lot of other sources exist there ( everything in Brazilian). You just add some of them (may be two) and I will accept it. Good luck. Kichu🐘 Need any help? 01:43, 31 March 2021 (UTC)

Outro que acha que ele é que sabe... A pôr os títulos onde o jogador não jogou nem esteve no banco (já percebi que os sites oficiais dos clubes fazem muito isso, tal como o BDFUTBOL; basta fazer parte do elenco, mas aqui na WP não fazemos assim), e chama os outros de vândalos ainda (tentei explicar isso no "talk" do outro, a mensagem foi removida sem uma gota que fosse de resposta). Já reverti e fui revertido vezes que chegue, o artigo fica como está (a não ser que queiras ajudar, claro).

Clubs

On the list of requested articles, there are a lot of Brazilian clubs which have been there for quite a while. (A few Spanish too.) Do you think they are notable, i.e. have played in cup or leagues on a reasonably high level? Maybe some of them exist already under different names? Geschichte (talk) 13:16, 5 July 2021 (UTC)

@Geschichte: I think those Spanish ones are notable for playing in a national division. As for the Brazilian ones, I think some of them may be, but I would only create those which played in a Copa do Brasil or in some Campeonato Brasileiro edition at any level, or at least according to WP:FPL. @Rupert1904: Yep, there are a bunch of teams without an update, or without a full list of seasons... You can use Futbol Regional, Futbolme or some other sites to complete their list, though. Hi BrazilianDude - I will assume good faith, but please stop your reversions of my edits and do not claim I am hounding you when you've gone through all of my recent edits to Spanish football club articles and undid my updates. There is a consensus in the WPfooty MOS and actually the whole English wikipedia to never abbreviate across centuries. This is something that we follow. So 1899–1900 and 1999–2000 should be read as that and not as 1899–00 and 1999–00. You can refer to that here: Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style/Dates_and_numbers#years and Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style#Number_ranges. O jogador em causa nem esteve no banco, a mania que o Soccerway e os sítios oficiais dos clubes têm de "adicionar" aos títulos dos jogadores, seja ou não verdade! O mesmo no Daniel Bragança e no Dário Essugo, pelo amor de deus, o último ainda é um moleque de 16 ANOS!!

O problema é que existe a possibilidade de esses jogadores serem campeões, mas depende do clube se o cidadão recebeu a medalha ou não. Duvido muito que tenha alguma coisa sobre, vou procurar nas redes sociais dos jogadores em questão. BRDude70 (talk) 14:11, 18 August 2021 (UTC)

Não é bem uma questão de fonte digna ou não, é mais uma questão de que, de acordo com o que foi discutido no WT:FOOTY, se um jogador ganha uma medalha, ele deve ser declarado campeão. Não faz muito sentido criar matérias pra dizer quem ganhou medalhas ou não, então ver a rede social dos jogadores faz um certo sentido. Sem problemas, amigo. Lembro de uma discussão sobre os títulos de alguns jogadores do Barcelona (acho que era o Sergi Roberto, mas não tenho certeza), e tinham dito que se o cara recebeu a medalha, o título poderia ir à página dele, já que a medalha "certificaria" de que ele era campeão daquele torneio, pois o clube somente daria a medalha aos jogadores que ele considerava que realmente ganharam o título. Pelo que eu vi do Essugo, ele ganhou uma medalha também, então o clube considera que ele é campeão... Até porque eu pessoalmente não conheço o jogador, mas não seria o primeiro caso que vejo um garoto tão novo estar envolvido ativamente em uma equipe profissional... WikiProject assessment tags for talk pages

Thank you for your recent articles, including Miguel Muñoz Fernández, which I read with interest. When you create a new article, can you add the WikiProject assessment templates to the talk of that article? See the talk page of the article I mentioned for an example of what I mean. Usually it is very simple, you just add something like {{WikiProject Keyword}} to the article's talk, with keyword replaced by the associated WikiProject (ex. if it's a biography article, you would use WikiProject Biography; if it's a United States article, you would use WikiProject United States, and so on). You do not have to rate the article if you do not want to, others will do it eventually. Those templates are very useful, as they bring the articles to a WikiProject attention, and allow them to start tracking the articles through Wikipedia:Article alerts and other tools. For example, WikiProject Poland relies on such templates to generate listings such as Article Alerts, Popular Pages, Quality and Importance Matrix and the Cleanup Listing. Thanks to them, WikiProject members are more easily able to defend your work from deletion, or simply help try to improve it further.
