Ally Tyler-Walsh[edit]

You added a redirect from Ally Tyler-Walsh in main article space to user space. I have deleted it per WP:CSD#R2, which is fully explained at WP:CROSS. Is there a reason not to put the article in mainspace?

Also, you had confusing redirects from your user page, and from the header of this talk page, which redirected to a redirect. I removed them assuming they were unintentional. —EncMstr (talk) 18:20, 30 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Replacing Images[edit]

Regarding the Blair Waldorf image, I've attempted to inform you of this before: It is not proper to simply upload a completely new picture while using the same file name as an old one. This automatically replaces the original picture with the new one. The problem is that the two images do not have the same copyright information, and each image must have its own info in that regard. You have to put the work in yourself when it comes to adding copyright info for your new image.

Also, while it is not required, it is rather courteous to inform the person who uploaded the old photo that you're attempting to replace their work. In any case, I've returned the original image again in accordance with the proper policy. Please do not use preexisting file names when uploading any additional new images. Thank you. -- James26 (talk) 06:59, 4 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

New Blair Image[edit]

Hi. I left a suggestion on the Blair Waldorf talk page regarding your proposal. The replacement you want to use is a bit old and typical in my opinion, but there are plenty of other nice images that can be found in places like Wikia (though a source would be needed) and Gossip Girl Insider. -- James26 (talk) 02:52, 6 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

OK. I'll get those images. Thnx!--Sexxxy-Silver Cullen (90210) (talk) 16:17, 6 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Ally Tyler-Walsh, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. About the image[edit]

Hi again. Do you have a source for that new Blair Waldorf image you uploaded (BDorf.jpg)? The link that's currently there is for the older one. This could complicate things down the road. If you don't have the source, I'll just upload a replacement in a day or so (one that still shows her face well enough). Thanks. -- James26 (talk) 22:13, 23 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File:InuYashaVolume1.jpg[edit]

I like to inform you that I have reverted your upload to File:InuYashaVolume1.jpg as it was completely inappropriate. As per the file's name, it is the cover of InuYasha volume 1. However, you replaced it with a logo, which is not from volume 1. Secondly, the WP:ANIME has formed a consensus that the the cover of a volume of a manga, the cover of a DVD, or a promotional image including the main characters should be the image used in the animanga infobox. Logos and title screens make for very poor identifies as they change from country to country and even season to season. --Farix (Talk) 00:32, 15 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:AMills.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:AMills.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. –Drilnoth (T • C • L) 17:22, 17 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
