New species of...[edit]

I've seen you use this phrasing twice today. In each case I'd suggest the species has been around for some time but the discovery of them is new. Perhaps "newly discovered species of..."? Cabayi (talk) 07:32, 30 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

See Template:Taxobox for details, and for instance Stylidium accedens would have the taxobox shown at left. You can copy and paste, changing only the specific fields (species, binomial, authority, etc.) For very short articles (stubs), it is also helpful to add a relevant stub template, e.g. {{Asterales-stub}}. Lastly, be wary of using individual herbarium records such as this one to make claims: it is easy to misuse or be mislead by such primary sources: see WP:PRIMARY for guidelines. --Animalparty!
