License tagging for Image:Sweden.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Sweden.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

While Wikipedia welcomes editors' opinions on an article and how it could be changed, these comments are more appropriate for the article's accompanying talk page. Soldado & Balbao[edit]

I will let you on a little secret: Soldado played 11 games and scored 2 goals for Madrid in the 2005-06 season and Balboa played in 2 games! They were loaned out to Primera División teams, but they did not played for Real Madrid Castilla last term which is what you are implying when you added "promoted from the B team". Oh! Real Madrid Castilla is the B team so you do not have to say "promoted from B team"! Yes, but the shock will wear off soon! Raul17 06:09, 14 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the history lesson, but I know that Madrid B is RM Castilla. It seems like you didn't know because you keep editing the Real Madrid Castilla page with "the B team" tag. As far as I know, Soldado was promoted in 2005/06 when he finished the season with the first team. Last season, Soldado was loaned to Osasuna early in the pre-season so we wouldn't know if he would have worn a first team kit number. Spanish first team squads[edit]

Hi! I have initiated a discussion on how to present Spanish first team squads on WP:football´s talkpage. I think we should distinguish the actual first team squad (nos. 1-25) from players registered with a reserve team who have been given first team numbers (26-), since the latter are not technically members of the first team. I have twice tried to make the distinction on the Real Madrid page only for it to be changed back. I thought maybe you would have an opinion on the subject and would be thankful for your comment. Thanks for uploading Image:Fabricio_30_Depor.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion.
