Thank you for support. I would appreciate any help. You are probably familiar with this: [1]. I am also a relatively new user here. It is difficult to prove that someone is "working for Russian government" as you say. An important thing is that everyone must follow Wikipedia rules. So far, only Vlad blatantly violates these rules. As for protecting the articles, I believe that Alex also does not follow exactly some instructions. First, he should not protect articles that he edited himself, such as Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation, Glasnost Defence Foundation, and Anna Politkovskaya. Second, he had to file a request for protection here: Wikipedia:Requests_for_page_protection, so another Wikipedia administrator could evaluate if there is indeed a serious editing war and make final decision about protection. The problem[edit]

As you have probably realized, main problem for me is the alleged wikistalking by Vlad Fedorov. See:Wikipedia:Requests_for_comment/Vlad_fedorov filed by Colhicum and Wikipedia_talk:Requests_for_comment/Vlad_fedorov. I can see only one way out: mediation and arbitration. You can easily trace all my edits and all Vlad's edits (the tracing itself is not wikistalking) and perhaps give me a piece of advice, or even edit my edits if you think you would like to find a sort of compromise. As for the article Internet troll squads, I was able to find only one good publication (others are blogs), but I believe this is a reliable source. The content and the character of discussions in Russian Internet is indeed very different from Western blogs and dominated by these "brigades" in sites like "grani.ru" and many others. (PS). Yes, of course. You can also read Lawful interception and SORM articles. There is absolutely no problem identifying who we are. We use nicknames only because we do not want our personal names to appear all over the Internet. This has a downside. You, as ordinary Wikipedia user, can know about me only the information I have provided at my personal page (assuming that I am telling the truth). How can someone tell that users A and B are different? This is only based on their edits. For example, you can tell that my English is poor. I can tell that Colchicum is an excellent expert in modern Russian politics, or that Alex is an excellent editor and a reasonable administrator (so I have never complained about him or any other person in Wikipedia excluding Vlad). As about Vlad, he inserts "alleged" in every sentence and does other things, which create his own unique editing style. And so on. Biophys 15:53, 20 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
