Request reason:

I inadvertently allowed one of my employees to create a login for me to use and edit my draft page. I wasn't aware that this is against the rules and I apologize. In the future, if any of my employees have to edit my page, they will create their own login information and use appropriate disclosure. I have also removed the copyrighted information from the original draft and so complied with the reviewer's objection. I request you to reconsider the revised submission for acceptance. Vikram Mehta

Decline reason:

As we have discussed on IRC, I am unconvinced that you will not continue to promote yourself, your research, or people you are affiliated with. See WP:COI, WP:PROMO. That's not an inherently "bad" thing, but it's incompatible with the principles of Wikipedia. Accordingly, I am declining to unblock you at this time. I'm sorry this news could not be more favorable. Because you have mentioned asking a colleague to submit an article, please also see WP:SOCK and WP:MEAT – asking or suggesting that another person make the same edits as you is also a violation of Wikipedia policy. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Dr. Mehta, I'd like to recommend you read some of the Wikipedia articles about people you might consider your peers. What you've submitted as a draft would be great for your personal website or your organization's. But it's not suitable for an encyclopedia. This is a good example of why we discourage autobiography; it's very hard to write about yourself and maintain a neutral point of view. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆 𝄐𝄇 19:05, 2 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
