Welcome!

Hello, CTB81, and welcome to Wikipedia! This is one of the most popular websites in the world, and it's only through the contributions of editors like you. And Wikipedia is not just a collection of articles, it's an active community. The real fun here is contributing to Wikipedia, but don't feel hurt if some of your first few edits get removed, as there are some central guidelines you may not be familiar with.

Some good advice: be bold in your editing, and use the talk pages to discuss with other editors. Be kind to others, because there's a lot you can learn from them, and there's lots they can help you with.

There's lots of resources to help you become a great editor, from our basic introduction to our in-depth manual. But if you have any questions or problems, no matter what they are, leave me a message on my talk page or place {{helpme}} on this page to get any help you need. If you haven't done so, tell us a bit about yourself. Oh, and please sign your name on talk pages and votes by typing ~~~~; our software automatically converts it to your username and the date.

Glad you're here! CupcakePerson13 (talk) 03:57, 3 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of Interest[edit]

Hello. You have claimed to be a member of the band Trapt, and expressed interest in changing its content, so I just wanted to make you aware of Wikipedia's guidelines for when you have a conflict of interest. Thank you. Sergecross73 msg me 23:22, 9 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

When you say “appearing to defend statutory rape.” Why are you not including the situation? 25 year old female teacher and a 15 year old male student. Why are you leaving it open ended. You are super dishonest. CTB81 (talk) 17:57, 13 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I'm just notifying you of our conflict of interest guidelines, you can keep the content discussions on the article talk page, where they are active being addressed. Sergecross73 msg me 18:28, 13 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Loudwire has a new article up about it. I suggest you read it and change what you personally wrote about me. If that policy was challenged in court, it would never hold water. CTB81 (talk) 17:28, 16 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Why is that you use someone opinion or observation instead of FACTS.... “appearing to” is bad journalism or whatever you are trying to do here. Wikipedia should only be fact driven. CTB81 (talk) 17:43, 16 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Travis Livingstone was not paid for ONE lyric video. He was paid 750 to do an album cover and he was paid 2800 for the “make it out alive” lyric video. Why do you people constantly lie? CTB81 (talk) 19:37, 22 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi again. Just a reminder that, like I mentioned above last time, requests related to article changes should be placed on the article talk page. Long story short, writing to someone on your own talk page is kind of like talking in a room while blindfolded. It works if we've been conversing recently and you know I'm already in the room, but it doesn't work when you just randomly start back up talking 3 days later, because you don't know if I'm still there or not. And generally speaking, I won't be here. I edit a lot of different areas on Wikipedia, I'm not here routinely checking your talk page. It's purely chance that I happened to stop by today. Thanks. Sergecross73 msg me 21:24, 22 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You read what I typed... no? One of you guys made it so I can’t send any messages on talk page. CTB81 (talk) 22:07, 22 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

As an admin, I can verify that there is nothing on your account preventing you from editing the Trapt talk page. Sergecross73 msg me 23:45, 22 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

There is not one article that has proof of any other video but ONE lyric video that did not meet the expectations I had, as many articles have made clear. CTB81 (talk) 22:08, 22 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please assume good faith. The source was unclear as to what exactly went unpaid. It has been revised. If you ask, and sources are present to verify it, things can be revised. Sergecross73 msg me 23:45, 22 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

April 2021[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm FMSky. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Trapt, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. FMSky (talk) 22:52, 22 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of interest - final warning[edit]

Yet another reminder of Wikipedia's Conflict of Interest Guidelines. If you make another edit to the Trapt article that doesn't align with what a third party, reliable source can verify, you account will be blocked from editing that article. Sergecross73 msg me 23:48, 22 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Comments like this are not appropriate for any articles, let alone one you have a conflict if interest with. Please leave concerns like this on the talk page, not the article itself. Sergecross73 msg me 14:06, 25 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The way you use your opinion of an event or events verse fact is the real conflict of interest. You have a real interest in making me look as bad as possible and this will be challenged in court soon enough, Serge... CTB81 (talk) 12:11, 26 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This is from Wikipedia itself...

“ The text of Wikipedia articles should assert facts, but not assert opinions as fact.” You assert opinions of your perception of how language was used. You do not use the language itself. This will be challenged. If you go ahead and block me that just shows even more maliciousness. CTB81 (talk) 12:14, 26 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Look, I've told you what you need to do - make requests on the ARTICLE's talk page and people will address them. You've done this before, and it's worked for you - you've had multiple parts revised last month - so I don't know why you're acting so confused on this now.
  • Yesterday, you left your comments in the article itself, as if you were a teacher leaving notes on a students essay or something. Don't do that. That's why we have talk pages.
  • On that note, please see Wikipedia's policy of No Legal Threats. If you keep making legal threats, I'm supposed to block you. I'm allowed to alert you of this first, so I'm not blocking you now. But that's literally what I'm supposed to do if you dont stop. Sergecross73 msg me 12:51, 26 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
