Great American God Out[edit]

Hi Carminis -- Category pages are automatic indexes created by Wikipedia, but they generally shouldn't include content that should be in an article. I noticed the Category:The Great American God Out, which appears to be more appropriate for an article, when it was posted as a "category for discussion". If you'd like to participate in the discussion, it's at Wikipedia:Categories_for_discussion/Log/2008_February_10#Category:The_Great_American_God_Out. Please note, that categories are quite different from articles -- because it's an indexing function, not a question of coverage in the encyclopedia, concepts of notability aren't really the main criteria. For more info on categories, and to understand the points that people are making in the discussion, please read categorization on wikipedia, category FAQ, categories, lists, and series boxes, and overcategorization. I'll be happy to answer questions if you have them, also; for people not familiar with the the concept, categories can be a little confusing. I'd recommend, however, that you start working on an article about the topic. --Lquilter (talk) 18:53, 11 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks - I am assuming this soon will be the article about the topic, and possibly afd'd. Carminis (talk) 18:59, 11 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
