Re: Torture

I'm afraid I can't find any info on whether the lawsuit was settled, either online or in my books. The only other information on "Torture" I can find is on page 329 of this book:

Regarding the lawsuit, whatever was the outcome (even if it was stalled) can go in the article if proper sources are there. Its not necessary that there has to be an outcome. Also an image will be nice. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed to see that all three Hard Candy songs get their GA tag in a single day. It will be better if you provide him a link to NJR and where it will be used. Also provide him a link to a sample flickr uploaded picture. Since Wikipedia notes the author and the link where the true image is found, this should convince the user that WP doesnot intend for a copyright vio. I did it before for a stubborn user. You wrote that the hook is not sourced. The hook says that he is known for his G&S roles, which is sourced at footnotes 23-32, and that he is also known for his avant garde opera roles, which is sourced at footnotes 12-22. There are entire sections of the article about each. No problem, and thanks for the message. An unfortunate development over at DYK seems to be that the easiest hooks to get approved are where one just lifts a sentence directly from the article; but often (I feel) it is more interesting to say something about the subject that synthesizes different parts of the article, and so it takes more concentration on the part of the DYK reviewers to see how the parts are related and that each is referenced. I'm not sure that there is an easy solution to this problem, but it's something I've observed in the past year. Thanks for taking a second look. -- Ssilvers (talk) 16:28, 10 May 2009 (UTC)

I know. Actually Halo is much much better than Diva. It will appeal to all formats. I know Blame It is burning up the R&B chart but I still didn't hear it! I also remember Just Dance took zillion years to reach the top. This week if BBP's digital sales drop then there's a chance for Jamie as its airplay has reached peak of 124 million. Yeah I will definitely. But nowadays Pop is getting a little more spin than R&B. The recent hits are example. Waking Up in Vegas will most definitely be a top 10 if not top 5 hit for Perry. Think about TI's songs which spent so much time at number 1(Whatever You Like & Live Your Life)!! Don't get cold feet. Listen, if you feel the article is like other album FAs, don't hold back in nominating it. Though, if you do feel its not "there", then its not "there" yet. But, don't be afraid of nominating it, or else, how will you know if its FA material. Yeah, the criticism that comes from FAs is hard, but there just there trying to point you out on how you can get the article promoted. Well all the case closed articles need alot of work done and I'll be busy all the way till July so I can't work on any of the articles. Yes, I think you've avoided any copyright questions by making these much shorter. I made one minor tweak, changing the internal double quotes to single quotes. That's the convention for making them visually separate when they're nested. If yet another quote appeared inside the single quotes, you'd use double quotes again, and so on. I'll try for Skype but not in office. Im not supposed to use any means of communication in office. I did address the concerns of the reviewer and hoping for the best. Im more scared for the "4 Minutes" article. The sheer size of the article makes me shudder that how much it will be scathed at GAR. Well US is too unpredictable. Gaga is releasing Paparazzi in UK on July 6. I thnk she's waiting to see how far LoveGame goes in US and then release Paparazzi. I have a feeling that PAparazzi will already debut before that since it appeared in iTunes at 165 and rose to 79. I think the hoopla is all because of the music video. I was actually watching the video on my ipod while coming to office. He he I actually dreamed last night that there were notes with my face on them and that I was wearing a corkscrew headgear while falling down from my house's balcony. Weird! And yeahhhh Give It 2 Me passed!!! By the way, when shall we start working on "this? Oh yeah! Oh yeah! Take some time to celebrate"?
