Well, here's the elephant in the room, sort of...

Howday! What do you make of this: Andrew Giddings?! I'm pretty befuddled. --Leahtwosaints (talk) 19:04, 14 May 2013 (UTC)

It's quite funny and I like Jethro Tull. There are parts of it that could do with being a bit more encyclopedic and a little less homepage... he's obviously edited it himself. I'll move bits around a bit later on if I have time. Catfish Jim and the soapdish 08:37, 15 May 2013 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for May 29

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited The Fuse (Scottish band), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Idlewild (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi Jim. This is a bit of an odd request, given how rarely our paths cross, but I wondered whether you'd like to help take Morihei Ueshiba from its current rather haphazard state to Featured Article status? I've created a sandbox version to work on improving the page, which you'd be more than welcome to edit. If you're interested, drop me a line (or y'know, just pitch in). Hi there

No,i do not know Firefighter1675 although it is strange that he/she has edited only 2 pages on 1 day 5 mins apart.

I have served a 2 week suspension for Sock puppeting although i did not have concrete evidence to repute the allegation so i decided to just do the time rather than waste time on appeals though i maintain i had nothing to do with it. I took a 5 month break from Wikipedia to cool off but on my return i was blocked again.

I have made an effort to keep my nose clean & while it may be hard to believe i had actually decided to forget wikipedia for a while until my block lapsed.

You have written that you see my point. Could you elaborate a bit more on that? It may perhaps explain why i got blocked or why my block appeals were treated so harshly. Superfast1111 (talk) 15:35, 28 June 2013 (UTC)

I can see why you would be upset that edits you made were reverted without discussion... but you reacted in the wrong way. You should have tried to discuss the matter on the article talk page to reach a consensus rather than insult the other person. Catfish Jim and the soapdish 19:27, 28 June 2013 (UTC)

I did try to politely talk to the other person but was rudely rebuffed on several occasions & had no response when i tried to discuss something else in the vain hope that perhaps we can agree on something else. I do not respond well to threats & that person has not only made them towards me but others as well. I just cannot understand why admins who have been so quick to block me give others such a wide berth. I did give very detailed reasoning for the changes that i made which should have been enough but was still reverted & when others across several pages revert his edits he backs off which shows targeted editing. Can you tell me why all this is given a blind eye & the reason 'user blocked for adding such images' reeks of illiteracy because that was not what i was blocked for was i?? He has admitted to the very same things i was blocked for but he gets a pep talk & i get blocked. It does'nt seem fair to me. Superfast1111 (talk) 03:37, 29 June 2013 (UTC)

TemplateData is here

Hey Catfish Jim and the soapdish

I'm sending you this because you've made quite a few edits to the template namespace in the past couple of months. If I've got this wrong, or if I haven't but you're not interested in my request, don't worry; this is the only notice I'm sending out on the subject :).

So, as you know (or should know - we sent out a centralnotice and several watchlist notices) we're planning to deploy the VisualEditor on Monday, 1 July, as the default editor. For those of us who prefer markup editing, fear not; we'll still be able to use the markup editor, which isn't going anywhere.

What's important here, though, is that the VisualEditor features an interactive template inspector; you click an icon on a template and it shows you the parameters, the contents of those fields, and human-readable parameter names, along with descriptions of what each parameter does. Personally, I find this pretty awesome, and from Monday it's going to be heavily used, since, as said, the VisualEditor will become the default.

The thing that generates the human-readable names and descriptions is a small JSON data structure, loaded through an extension called TemplateData. I'm reaching out to you in the hopes that you'd be willing and able to put some time into adding TemplateData to high-profile templates. It's pretty easy to understand (heck, if I can write it, anyone can) and you can find a guide here, along with a list of prominent templates, although I suspect we can all hazard a guess as to high-profile templates that would benefit from this. Hopefully you're willing to give it a try; the more TemplateData sections get added, the better the interface can be. If you run into any problems, drop a note on the Feedback page.

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Jaco Pastorius may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
 • (musician)|Ray Brown]], Ron Carter, Charles Mingus, Charlie Haden and Milt Hinton).<ref>

HELP!! HEEEEELP!

I sent you an email, so I suppose you didn't do it or have been too busy. You know your adornments on my userpage? Nobody but you can add a barnstar that was just added and already in my archives. Please would you fix things? Two other editors could not repair your work, so would you please kindly check it out?? Thanks --Leahtwosaints (talk) 17:27, 23 July 2013 (UTC)

You do realize that I can't even figure out the instructions to my alarm clock, right? The mess I began to cause is in my Sandbox 2 which you'd have to find now by going through my edit user page history. Otherwise, if you can't help me with something a 8 year old child could understand and repair then that's it. I throw my hands in the air. --Leahtwosaints (talk) 10:30, 25 July 2013 (UTC)

My userpage

Thanks for returning the page to some sanity. When I went back and messed with it after Ms. Bono took a shot at it was for another reason. I love the little fairy up top, but you used to have tiny barnstars draped above the rest of the box just before her.. like Christmas tree ornaments and then the fairy.. can you put the little ones up top? You don't even have to link them to anybody's comments, I just think they were kind of pretty. You don't have to put them back, but I liked them, and I want to keep my fairy above as it is right now, since that sums up a huge part of what I do! Thanks so much for your time! xoxox --Leahtwosaints (talk) 16:42, 28 July 2013 (UTC)

Thank you so much!

I'm sorry about how I left my userpage like that, but I was frustrated and while you have been in/out of countries, I have been recently been in/out of hospitals again.. just to check out the cuisine, right? ;) I see you have assisted Ms. Bono, and that is the kind of sweet thing you would do! I'll try to play "catch up" when I return. I found a really great photo of him, and am waiting to see if he'll allow a change to a Creative Commons license. So for now? xoxox!! --Leahtwosaints (talk) 15:43, 4 August 2013 (UTC)

(talk page stalker)Sorry for poking my nose. Me? Am I missing something :)? Who is the him you are talking about? Miss Bono [zootalk] 18:06, 5 August 2013 (UTC)
I'm not sure, I don't think I've done anything... I imagine the photo is of Bono and Leah is trying to get the copyright owner to grant a CC licence to allow it on WP. Catfish Jim and the soapdish 06:36, 6 August 2013 (UTC)
I don't know what you did for me, but thank you! :) You are great and awesome, and I thank you for your help in Leah's userpage. I am a fan of it and of yours, it is an awesome design. And if you have something to do with the photo of Bono I double thank you :D Nice to meet you! Miss Bono [zootalk] 12:36, 6 August 2013 (UTC)
Yes, I saw a response from you on Ms Bono's talk page, and was referring to finding a picture of Bono, but checked into the hospital so I wasn't clear. Sorry about that!! --Leahtwosaints (talk) 04:42, 7 August 2013 (UTC)
