If you are indeed the Chris Frith of that page, then please read Conflict of Interest. One of the stronger policies of Wikipedia is that you do not create or edit articles about yourself, as all articles must maintain a neutral point of view, which we rarely have about ourselves. As state on the COI page: "Conflict of interest (COI) editing involves contributing to Wikipedia about yourself, family, friends, clients, employers, or your financial or other relationships." You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. Articles are not owned by anyone, including the subject, and so what you would like included is not relevant, the question is what is wikipedia's standard practices, guidelines, or manual of style say. Wikipedia templates for infoboxes (like this one for example) make it clear that this parameter should be the number of children unless the children themselves are notable enough to have a wikipedia article to link to.
