Proposed deletion of Benji Hillman[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Benji Hillman, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Fram (talk) 08:17, 8 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

May 2008[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Benji Hillman. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. Hello, let me introduce myself. I am Prashanth, another editor like you. As you have seen, I disagreed with your removal of the AfD template that you removed from the article on Benji Hillman and restored it. Here, in Wikipedia, we assume good faith, and your article has been proposed for deletion for genuine reasons that comply with Wikipedia's deletion policy. However, I cleaned up the article by making it comply with Wikipedia's Manual of Style, which is important. I have tagged the article in places for need of references and facts. Please do not remove them! I am trying to rescue the article just like you. Please follow the links above and the tags on the article, if you are really interested in the article being kept. THanks. Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Benji Hillman do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia.

Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.

The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): rule: 'youtube\.com' (link(s): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HbbaQbzUb6o) . If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. an image or a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, or similar site, then please check the information on the external site thorougly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creators copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).

Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! XLinkBot (talk) 15:42, 8 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have moved the page as per your request. Hope this is fine. All the best with the article building. Leave a note if you need any help. Like I said earlier, I cant help on content, can only help with any editing if you want! Enjoy your time at Wikipedia!Prashanthns (talk) 14:11, 11 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Prashanthns. Thank you for changing the name, but, it is referred to as The Benji Hillman Foundation and people will serach for it this way. Can you add the THE ? Also, do you think there are enough secondary sources now ? Is it good enough (without formatting which I cannot yet do properly) for people to agree to keep ??? Please advise --Chaffchaff (talk) 14:43, 11 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Just wanted to wish you for all the nice work you did! CHeers. Prashanthns (talk) 12:27, 14 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
