Thank you!

I very much appreciate the welcome you left me and the offer for help. I may have questions as I work on the Battle of Verdun article over the next few weeks. I hope you don't mind. :) Timeweaver (talk) 21:15, 17 May 2012 (UTC)

I don't mind at all but if you ask at the teahouse there are people there with much wider expertise than mine.--Charles (talk) 21:27, 17 May 2012 (UTC)

Since there is already a "Thank you!" section I didn't want to bother by creating another subsection. I hope you wouldn't mind. I really thank you for your warm welcome to me, and also thanks for the cookies! YN Susilo (talk) 12:51, 19 May 2012 (UTC)

Thanks!!

Those images were not of Lionel Nathan de Rothschild but of his grandpa Lionel de Rothschild. If you check I didn't remove them but I moved them.--77.49.131.150 (talk) 16:55, 29 May 2012 (UTC)

You did remove them and without explanation. Next time fill in the edit summary to explain why.--Charles (talk) 17:05, 29 May 2012 (UTC)
Basically, I thought that someone who would notice it would do some examination. May I ask how did you actually notice it?--77.49.131.150 (talk) 17:36, 29 May 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for your interest. Editors like myself have a watchlists of pages, usually ones automatically added to the list when we edit a page. There are thousands of pages on mine and hundreds of changes per day to look over. Any changes to a page are flagged up with details of who has edited and any edit summary provided. Content removal by vandals happens many times a day and if there is no explanation provided I do not have time to dig around for possibilities but instead err on the side of protecting the wiki. Anyway thank you for helping and if you are interested in doing more I encourage you to create an account which will give you access to more tools, help and resources.--Charles (talk) 19:19, 29 May 2012 (UTC)
