Hello Bivek. I am well thank you. I do not actually work with the Counter Vandalism Academy but I am happy to adopt you and advise on reverting vandalism. It is good to have an editor from Nepal. I am very busy with work and may not always reply quickly.Charles (talk) 20:02, 8 May 2016 (UTC)

Plymouth

Hi CharlesDrakew,

I have only just registered with Wikipedia so I am not familiar with making contributions to information, adding or editing. However, the information I wrote about the 29th Commando Royal Artillery Regiment being based in the Royal Citadel is correct. I live in Plymouth and as a tour guide, I took groups around the site. Thanks ALOYSIUS59 ALOYSIUS59 (talk) 21:13, 29 May 2016 (UTC)

Hello ALOYSIUS59
I am not doubting the veracity of your contribution but Wikipedia does insist that all factual statements are supported by a reference to a published source so they are verifiable. This could be a newspaper article or a regimental association website for instance. If you can point me to anything like that I will include a reference. For help with editing in general you will be welcome to visit the Teahouse where new editors can chat. Happy editing and please do contact me if you have problems.Charles (talk) 09:17, 30 May 2016 (UTC)

Tower Transit

Hello there sir, I want to know how do I add a <ref> for a Straits Times advertisement for today. I got the information from over there. Thanks a lot! Sbs882y Sbs882y (talk) 11:23, 30 May 2016 (UTC)

(talk page watcher) You don't. Adverts are not generally considered a reliable source. Cheers! Muffled Pocketed 11:27, 30 May 2016 (UTC)

A barnstar for you!

The Original Barnstar
Thank you for pointing out my error in creating a gallery section for the village of Wivenhoe. I had read carefully the WP article on creating galleries and thought that uploading free use images illustrating the landmarks of the village fitted that brief well. I can now see I was wrong - thank you. Ipingalex (talk) 10:52, 20 June 2016 (UTC)
Thank you for taking it so well. There are an awful lot of policies and guidelines on Wikipedia although they say there are no rules! It takes a long time to learn your way around. Happy editing.Charles (talk) 13:38, 20 June 2016 (UTC)

Adopt me?

Hi there, I saw that you may be looking for adoptees. I'm looking for an adopter, (is that a word?) so I wouldn't mind if you are open to adopting me. I'm fifteen years old, live in Kansas, and really tend to correct people's English. (Maybe that's not such a good thing.) If you're interested, you can contact me via my Talk page or here (I'll watchlist your page). Thanks! —Preceding undated comment added 19:09, 27 June 2016 (UTC)

Hi. It is always good to correct English in articles, but not on talk pages where it would be rather rude. I am happy to help you if I can. I am very busy so I will not be able to give a lot of time. What are you interesting in working on.Charles (talk) 23:12, 27 June 2016 (UTC)
Hey there, @Charlesdrakew, since I published that message, I've been adopted by @Omni Flames. Sorry! Thank you for being willing, though. :) ƒletchXYZ [ talk / contribs ] 18:07, 30 June 2016 (UTC)
