Pristina International Airport

Charles, why have you reverted the changes at Pristina International Airport? Do you not know that every Wikipedia airport pages has information about new route launches? See Heathrow Airport page and how many routes are with (begins DATE). Kosovar (talk) 11:06, 16 February 2017 (UTC)

Is the following information on the Heathrow Airport page also "promotional future event?"
British Airways Seasonal: Palermo (begins 28 March 2017), Pula (begins 1 July 2017)
WP:Other stuff exists. Wikipedia is not a travel guide.Charles (talk) 09:48, 17 February 2017 (UTC)

Asking adoption

Hi! I became a user nearly two months ago but I'm struggling a bit with getting started. There are so many pages, so may rules and so many guidelines! It's a bit distracting! I haven't mastered editing as well. I want to become an active and helpful user but I don't know where to start. So would you like to help me in beginning my Wikipedia's journey? Thanks. Justmeonhere (talk) 20:27, 17 February 2017 (UTC)

Hello there Justmeonhere. Yes I will be very pleased to adopt you. I love your userbox collection. With your language skills I am sure you will be an asset to Wikipedia. Is there anything in particular that you want to do here?
I have dropped you an invite to the Teahouse as there are many experienced editors there who can answer questions quicker and better than I sometimes can. Do feel free to ask me here though and I will do my best to help.Charles (talk) 11:08, 18 February 2017 (UTC)
Oh many thanks! Well, I'm interested in all things British, medias like movies and well my birth country, Italy. I'll check the Teahouse for sure! Thanks again. Justmeonhere (talk) 11:35, 18 February 2017 (UTC)

Worcestershire Project Barnstar.

Hello Charles,

I’m sending to you this message, as I have noticed that you made a contribution to the article Worcester. Recently I found out, that on Wikipedia exists a very good Project, called WP:WORCS https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Worcestershire I became very interested, as I’m planning to visit the Archaeological sites in Worcestershire, make good photos and then to start an article about Archaeological findings of Worcestershire. I think, that WP:WORCS deserves to have its own symbol - a Barnstar, what will also work as momentum of positive energy, that will help to make this Project a bit more active: it’s in need of it. So, as a participant of the Wikipedia Awards Project I decided to create WORCS Barnstar: the emblem, used by Worcestershire units at the Battle of Agincour (now this emblem decorates the Flag of Worcestershire) - county's famed black pear - became the central motive of Worcestershire Barnstar. If you will have a couple of minutes, please have a look at the page WikiProject Wikipedia Awards talk page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Wikipedia_Awards and if in your opinion this Barnstar is worth it (I tried my best) — give a support. Your participation will be highly appreciated. Regards, Chris Oxford.Chris Oxford (talk) 23:10, 3 March 2017 (UTC)

Not my turf but it seems a good idea in principle. Good that you have such an active local project. Pears always seem to be hard one day and rotten the next. I have wondered about creating a Sussex barnstar but have not yet found a suitable drawing of a Martlet.Charles (talk) 14:46, 4 March 2017 (UTC)

Reverts Due to Unsourced Changes

I have seen on the Beamish Musuem page the changes I have made are listed as unsourced, however this information is 100% correct and is first hand information. As a source, all this information is clearly displayed on http://beamishtransportonline.co.uk/ through regular updates.

Thanks

Please remember this is an encyclopedia not a news page for your museum. Independent sources are preferred.Charles (talk) 22:31, 17 March 2017 (UTC)
