I noticed that you nominated Live Prayer for GA review. However, you have only been editing for one day on Wikipedia. I would be willing to review the article if you are planning to stick around to follow up on the article and make any changes that are requested. Let me know on my talk page if it is you intention to follow through on any GA review recommendations. Regards, —Mattisse (Talk) 03:36, 23 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Bill Keller (televangelist)[edit]

Hi there, I'm not sure if you knew this so i figured I'd drop by. When you nominate an article for deletion the action you think should be taken, in essence your !vote, is mentioned in the nom rationale. There is no need to add a separate !vote when you nom an article for deletion. §hep¡Talk to me! 02:24, 24 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

All the better then. I just saw you were a new user and thought I'd try to lend a hand. Cheers, §hep¡Talk to me! 03:44, 24 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I this case, I know I atelast was voting 'keep it the way it is. Generally instead of starting an Afd for a proposed merge we start with proposing a merger, things go off from there. But as long as everything gets done that's all that really matetrs in the end. §hep¡Talk to me! 04:06, 24 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for File:Beltway snipers.jpeg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Beltway snipers.jpeg. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have any questions, please post them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

Thank you for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 04:00, 26 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Canadian Tire money[edit]

May I ask what you're thinking uploading the subject of the picture underneath a gun and various bullets? There's no way we can take that seriously and it is highly inappropriate, and though I have a sense of humor as much as the next person, not funny at all. I have reverted your edit and I ask that if you intend to contribute seriously to the project, you leave that kind of 'commentary' at the door. Thank you. Nate (chatter) 10:13, 9 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I should be familiar with tropical cyclones? OK, I guess...
I have re-reverted it again. Please do not re-add the picture in it's current state or else I will ask for administrative action. The picture is clearly meant to either confuse or inflame, and your comment about replacing it is considered incivil. Please be WP:CIVIL. I would have absolutely no problem with this picture at all without the weaponry, so please retake it without them. Thank you. Nate (chatter) 02:03, 10 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
As the Canadian Tire article is on my watchlist, I've noticed the addition and removal of this image. I appreciate that you've provided a new image for the article without the gun and bullets — thank you for that. While there is more latitude on user pages than on the main encyclopedia pages, the image still really isn't appropriate and I'd like to encourage you to please consider removing it entirely. Regards, Mlaffs (talk) 02:32, 10 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Apologies for the imprecision in language — as a former Canadian Armed Forces reservist, I do actually know the difference. But while I enjoy a good semantic argument as much as the next guy, that's not really the point, or at least it's not mine. Mlaffs (talk) 03:05, 10 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for changing the photo. As I said, the only issue was that the gun didn't belong in the photo at all, as pictures here are preferred to just have the subject of the picture, not extraneous items, and I thought you were making a satirical or other type of point.
