November 2013[edit]

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. We always appreciate when users upload new images. However, it appears that one or more of the images you have recently uploaded or added to an article, specifically Bharat Ratna, may fail our non-free image policy. Most often, this involves editors uploading or using a copyrighted image of a living person. For other possible reasons, please read up on our Non-free image criteria. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Werieth (talk) 21:43, 30 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

December 2013[edit]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Shahada may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • English-language quote ''There is no God except Allah and Muhammad is the messenger of the Allah.'')

Nagma[edit]

Your addition concerning her religion is not cited to a reliable source and is a WP:BLP violation. Your source states at the top that it is reporting an allegation, it does not state the claim as fact. If she openly broadcasts this faith as you claimed in one of your edit summaries, you should be able to cite a source in which she does this. January (talk) 13:49, 20 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Chitrada: A reminder that you have already received a final warning with regard to BLP violations and disruptive editing. If contentious material is removed from a biography citing policy concerns then you must not edit-war to restore it. Please use the talk page to seek consensus for its inclusion, or bring your concerns to the relevant noticeboard.--Jezebel'sPonyobons mots 17:31, 20 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 07:24, 21 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

January 2014[edit]

see below
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Varna (Hinduism). Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Sitush (talk) 01:02, 2 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I've collapsed the above. Please accept my apologies: I'm not sure what is going on here but what I'm seeing on my screen seems to be out-of-sync with current events (I'll try a cache clear). It turns out that you self-reverted. - Sitush (talk) 01:40, 2 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

"God" vs. "Allah"[edit]

The English translation of the Arabic proper noun "Allah" is the English proper noun "God". This is well-established (in particular, the name "Allah" is used for the monotheistic God of the Abrahamic religions by Arabic-speaking Christians and Jews) and your edits to the Charlie Hebdo shooting and Shahada articles go against both scholarly consensus and Wikipedia's house style. Please avoid making similar edits in future. -- Impsswoon (talk) 10:24, 24 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Email[edit]

You emailed me regarding my recent revert of your edits regarding H. H. Risley. You added that article to the See also section of other articles when it was already linked in the body of those articles. Please read WP:See also - we do not include links in that section to articles that have already been linked further up the page. - Sitush (talk) 00:28, 29 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

September 2021[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm DaxServer. I noticed that you recently removed content from Talk:Anti-Hindu sentiment without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. — DaxServer (talk to me) 14:11, 15 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I've stricken off the above warning on AGF, but please note that you may have to use archiving instead of removing discussions on a talk page. In cases you do not know how to do something, you can ask your question on Wikipedia:Help desk for further help. — DaxServer (talk to me) 15:17, 15 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
