Hi! I've seen you regularly edit the Simple Plan article. If you want, consider joining Wikipedia:WikiProject Simple Plan!

Please stop adding the list to this article; I've explained its removal on the Talk page — if you disagree with me, discuss it there. Also:

When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. -->

The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.

Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field, especially for big edits or when you are making subtle but important changes, like changing dates or numbers. Thank you. --Mel Etitis (Talk) 22:27, 25 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why do you dumbly revert without having the courtesy to discuss the issue? --Mel Etitis (Talk) 22:37, 25 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Red Links[edit]

Hi Chris! I've recently noticed that you've been delinking red links to several pages, such as the Simple Plan template and my user page. Although some people may see these links as 'annoying', or 'irritating', there is actually nothing wrong with red links! See: Wikipedia:Red link

Red links are actually a great help to Wikipedia because often users will come across red links and write articles for them. I personally was on the Temple City article, when I came across a red link. Because so, I wrote the Oak Avenue Middle School article. In short, they help.

You may argue though that the red links were irrelevant or would never get an article written about them (which is somewhat true about Garfield Hospital), but for things such as the Simple Plan template, they are extremely relevant and would one day probably get written by either you, me, Wehalt, or some other SP fan.

I hope you don't find this offensive because I don't mean it to be. I really appreciate your work on the SP article, and with that, I'll close. — Ian Lee (Talk - Contribs - Sign - Gimme!) 04:02, 30 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank-you[edit]

Thanks for reverting the vandalism to my userpage. Your help is appreciated :)

An editor has nominated List of number one videos on VSpot Top 20 Countdown, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not"). Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of number one videos on VSpot Top 20 Countdown and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Why They Contradict Each Other[edit]

Here is just one of many examples I can show you: In "I'm Just a Kid" (in the infobox at the right under "Simple Plan singles chronology"), it says "I'm Just a Kid" was released on 2001, while in the infobox in "I'd Do Anything (Simple Plan song)", it says "I'm Just a Kid" was released in 2002. There are SEVERAL contradictions... I'll probably fix it next Saturday, but if you want to earlier, have fun...

Oh yeah... nice job on fixing up all the infoboxes for the SP articles! — Ian Lee (Talk - Sign - Gimme!) 04:35, 9 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Slow Down!!![edit]

Hi once again. Please stop creating articles for all the songs (ie Grow Up) that are in the Simple Plan cd's... please read WP:NOT and WP:DELETE.

The thing is this... Wikipedia is not a fan site, and so only relevant articles should be made. Every single song SP has made is not relevant, and though I admire your devotion to SP... it's not what Wikipedia is about. I'm going to revert those edits now. And also, you might want to read the stuff in Template:Welcome. — Ian Lee (Talk - Sign - Gimme!) 01:48, 10 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Two things[edit]

Could you please try to add comments to your edits, as you have barely any for your last 500 edits [1]. Also, the speedy deletion tag on Michael Getler is inexplicable. Since he is the first-ever ombudsperson for PBS is not only notable, but extremely notable. -- Fuzheado | Talk 19:54, 27 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

July 2009[edit]

The recent edit you have made to Elect the Dead has been reverted. - Whatever, since I somewhat know you over the web, I'll state this plainly. Do not remove commas from dates, in every English dating format, there are always commas in those areas, if you choose not to believe me, see MOS:DATE for this and other dating aranges. And for the next part, could you seriously stop closing-up the space between the infobox and the lead text? That space is supposed to be there. • GunMetal Angel 21:30, 5 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

An image or media file has been removed from your userpage, user talk page, or other page because it was licensed as fair use. Wikipedia's fair use policy states that Copyrighted images under fair use are only allowed to be used in articles about the subject of the image, and only if no free equivalent is available. For example they are not allowed to be used on user pages, in lists, or (typically) in biographies of living people.. As a result, although users are often given a great amount of latitude in the type of content that is allowed on their user pages, it is requested that you abide by this policy. Feel free, however, to add images and media files licensed under other terms. For more information, see Wikipedia's fair use policy and an accompanying essay on the removal of fair use images. Further use of these images will be considered vandalism, and shall be treated as such. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter. Kerαunoςcopiagalaxies 04:41, 12 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there currently is a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you.

Nomination of The Breakup Song for deletion[edit]

A discussion has begun about whether the article The Breakup Song, which you created or to which you contributed, should be deleted. While contributions are welcome, an article may be deleted if it is inconsistent with Wikipedia policies and guidelines for inclusion, explained in the deletion policy.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Breakup Song until a consensus is reached, and you are welcome to contribute to the discussion.

You may edit the article during the discussion, including to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. Fixer23 (talk) 23:22, 14 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia:WikiProject Simple Plan, a page you substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Wikipedia:WikiProject Simple Plan and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Wikipedia:WikiProject Simple Plan during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. WhatamIdoing (talk) 20:44, 26 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of The Geeks Get the Girls[edit]

The article The Geeks Get the Girls has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No references, no claim of notability, fails WP:NSONG and WP:GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
