Thank you for your addition to this page, however, imdb is not a valid source, as anyone can edit it. CTJF83Talk 22:27, 7 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oh, I didn't know. Anyway, thanks for telling me that so I'll never use it again. User:Christianster45 01:38, 13 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Tyler Perry[edit]

Hi, Christianster45! Just wanted to note that your recent addition to Tyler Perry might not work. Firstly, the information is a year old, so the way it is worded makes it seems as if they are still together. Secondly, it's not a reliable source - it's a gossip note. I tried doing a Google search to find a better source for that information about Bekele, but wasn't able to find anything. I'm going to remove that addition for now, but if you come up with a better source of info, please feel free to add it back in? Thanks!

As a side note, per the discussion above, IMDB *is* considered a good source for information about what films someone has been in, or who the cast and crew are for a particular film. It's just the "bio" type info that they aren't good with.

Thanks much, and happy editing!! -- SatyrTN (talk / contribs) 22:26, 3 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Swing Vote/Box office bomb[edit]

Thanks for your entry on my talk page about your concern over my removal of Swing Vote from the List of U.S. and Canadian box office bombs. If you peruse through that article's talk page and my edit summary, you will see why I deleted it. The article does not merely include just any film that doesn't recoup its budget costs at the domestic box office; but please feel free to further discuss this on that talk page, so that other users may weigh in on whether or not that film deserves to be listed. - SoSaysChappy (talk) 23:45, 4 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Mark Walton (story artist)[edit]

A tag has been placed on Mark Walton (story artist) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 06:41, 19 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Mark Walton (story artist)[edit]

I have nominated Mark Walton (story artist), an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Mark Walton (story artist). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 06:44, 19 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

November 2008[edit]

Please stop adding unreferenced controversial biographical content to articles or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Deron Williams. Content of this nature could be regarded as defamatory and is in violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. The Dark Knight box office[edit]

I didn't add the $1 billion thing. this edit proves it. Some IP did it. However, I do take blame for adding the box office total. I didn't check back at the Box Office Mojo page. I should have, though. Anyway, thanks for letting me know. Wildroot (talk) 03:14, 23 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

RE: Taylor Swift picture[edit]

Hey, Ward3001, I'm just User:Christianster45, but another user messed up my password (pageant mispelt, and couldn't remember it). So I had to start another user, and the first thing on my talk page is something I din't committed. I never download a Taylor Swift picture, but "I" did because that same user did while I was still logged on. talk 20:04, 18 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Frankly, I find it extremely difficult to believe that another user used your username to edit, but regardless of your truthfulness, whoever added the image to Taylor Swift violated copyright. If it wasn't you, then learn from this about what not to do. If it was you, don't do it again. Ward3001 (talk) 21:44, 18 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
