Question...[edit]

Do you have a source for this edit: [1]? Thanks. --LV (Dark Mark) 16:55, 18 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Rotten Tomatoes, although it's pretty common knowledge. -- Chupon 17:10, 18 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
So please cite your sources in the future. It's no big deal, we just want to make sure things are verifiable. Cheers, my friend. --LV (Dark Mark) 17:24, 18 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

redirect[edit]

It was incorrect to redirect Niguai as you did. There is more than one species in this genus. - UtherSRG (talk) 16:15, 14 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

would you please lodge a formal 'support' vote at the talk page? , thank you. --Isolani 19:32, 18 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ratdog or RatDog?[edit]

Greetings, Chupon. I have undone your edits that were intended to rename Ratdog to RatDog, for two reasons: (1) the technical procedure that would be used for renaming this article would be different than what you did, and (2) I feel pretty strongly that this should be discussed first. So, let's discuss it, at Talk:Ratdog#Ratdog or RatDog?. Thanks. Mudwater (Talk) 00:37, 20 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for joining the discussion on the article's talk page. Renaming an article is usually a big enough change that it should be discussed first. We should give other editors some time to weigh in with their opinions -- possibly as long as a few weeks, depending on how things go. After that, if there's a consensus to rename the article, I'm planning on taking care of that. As for the technical question of how to rename an article, that's explained in detail at Help:Moving a page, so you can read all about it there. One of the things it says is, "You should never just move a page by cutting all the text out of one page, and pasting it into a new one; old revisions, notes, and attributions are much harder to keep track of if you do that." To summarize what the help page says, the usual way to rename an article is to click on the "move" tab at the top of the article and then, on the page you'll see, carefully fill in the new article name and the reason for the move. The main thing to watch out for is that if there are any links to the article that were redirects before the rename, those need to be fixed, as described in the "How to" section of the help page. But, renaming an article by clicking on the "move" tab doesn't work in certain situations, including this one -- the new name is a redirect page that already has an edit history. This can all start to seem a bit complicated, but the basic concept is that an article generally should be renamed by clicking the "move" tab, not by copying and pasting the article. (If you reply here I will see what you say.) Mudwater (Talk) 02:45, 21 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The Ratdog article has now been renamed to RatDog. Thanks for your participation in the process. Mudwater (Talk) 15:29, 13 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Verifiability[edit]

None of the many "music festival" articles you have been creating appear to be referenced with reliable sources. Please refrain from creating articles unless their content can be properly verified. -- Scjessey (talk) 16:53, 3 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • I'm performing page cleanup by separating already existing data onto other pages. These are notable festivals it's just that the main article for that festival was getting too large because every year was listed on one page. I'm simply separating the years so they are on their own page. -- Chupon (talk) 16:56, 3 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Typo redirect Blago[edit]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Blago, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Blago is a redirect page resulting from an implausible typo (CSD R3).

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Blago, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. To see the user who deleted the page, click here CSDWarnBot (talk) 23:10, 9 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Langerado[edit]

Hey Chupon. You're right, those aren't vandalism, sorry for the revert. However, it's very hard to tell that someone removing content is doing so with good intentions when there's no edit summary. I think if you use one in the future you'll be much more likely to avoid the issue. Thanks! FlyingToaster 02:40, 16 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of 2009 10,000 Lakes Festival[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article 2009 10,000 Lakes Festival, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Future festival, violation of WP:CRYSTAL.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. AfD nomination of 2001 Summer Camp Music Festival[edit]

I have nominated 2001 Summer Camp Music Festival, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/2001 Summer Camp Music Festival. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Mayalld (talk) 16:28, 22 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Note[edit]

The rules for formatting the Musician infobox template are very clear. The current member/former member fields are strictly "name only". No other text, like deceased is allowed in the the musician infobox. Life status for band members is detailed in the body of the article text, not the box. Please do add any text that ignores the formatting rules of the template. The Real Libs-speak politely 22:39, 27 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Great editing, keep up the good work! The Real Libs-speak politely 22:48, 27 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. Resolute 16:49, 29 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

MfD nomination of User:Chupon/Recipes[edit]

User:Chupon/Recipes, a page you substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Chupon/Recipes and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of User:Chupon/Recipes during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. SL93 (talk) 01:56, 11 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
