Hello there. Thanks for your note on my talk page. I've gone through the article draft to edit for encyclopedic style and tone, e.g. removing "renowned", "acclaimed" etc. and references to the subject as "Ms. Gerdes". I've removed the "Awards and nominations" section as they are non-notable awards from websites with reader voting for self-nominations, e.g. [1], and are not independently referenced. I've also formatted the remaining references. I'll leave it to another editor to formally review the draft. However, my assessment is that unfortunately, the subject probably doesn't yet pass our criteria for notability. WP:BAND lays out the requirements in more detail, but the main problem is the lack of significant coverage of the subject in reliable sources which are completely independent of her. I have been unable to find any further coverage which could remedy this. Voceditenore (talk) 15:33, 22 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, me again. I didn't realize you were one of the Future of Classical Music class members. Below I've added an official welcome as well as some other useful links. Best wishes, Voceditenore (talk) 13:23, 23 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Voceditenore. I have found what I feel to be sufficient sources to verify the biography Ms. Gerdes. I have also found sources that show she is notable, particularly to #10 and #12 in Wikipedia:Notability as well as referenced them back to the proper wikipedia articles. I plan on submitting it for review again, but I'd like to get your opinion on if you think it is notable this time around. Thank you again for your help and have a Happy Holiday! Best, ClassicalTone (talk) 15:23, 15 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hi. I had a look and formatted the new refs for you. It might have a chance of being passed at AfC. So go ahead and resubmit it. You've got nothing to lose. My impression, though, is that even with the new sources, the notability is still pretty marginal and it might go either way. Best, Voceditenore (talk) 14:25, 16 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
