Connacht players national flags[edit]
Hi Coldphinger, I noticed you changed the flags on a number of the Connacht squad to IRL. They have previously been given a * to denote they are Irish Qualified. If they play for Ireland the flag would be changed, or even make a clear declaration of their intent to do so (like Brett Wilkinson or even Richart Strauss when he qualifies in October). Ashbourne[edit]
Hi. With thanks for your additions to Ashbourne, County Meath (and in particular addressing some of the {{cn}} tags), please note that I have refactored several of the additions to reflect related Wikipedia guidelines. Including:
- WP:NOTDIRECTORY/WP:USEPROSE. Wikipedia is not a directory. There isn't really scope for every current/former sports club in Ashbourne to have their own directory-style entry, section or sub-section.
- MOS:BOLD. Bold text is reserved for the titular subject (the town) and its redirects. The terms "Ashbourne Community Centre" and "Ashbourne Archers" should not be bolded.
- WP:RSPFACEBOOK. Facebook posts represent user-generated content that can be made by anyone and can say anything. The flat earth society has a Facebook page. Which contains any number of questionable claims. If the "Ashbourne Archers" club is defunct, we can just remove the related text from the section. (We possibly don't need an entire section/sub-section (a directory-style entry), supported only by a Facebook post, which covers a club that no longer exists...)

- @Guliolopez There was absolutely no need to revert to the previous information, which was incorrect, outdated, contained no citations or linkthroughs.
- This sort of over zealous action is way people can't be bothered to provide up-to-date date content on Wikipedia, over zealous moderation and pages like this remain outdated, incohrrent and useless.
- The few changes that were necessary could have been flagged. The fact that you don't even know that the Community Centre is the Sports Centre is concerning and suggests you know nithing about the town in question... Coldphinger (talk) 17:29, 10 April 2024 (UTC)
