The article was written like an advertisement (eg You don't need expensive programs to create your own either), and was full of unsourced spammy comments. eg
- full featured ... especially compared to the other competing clients.
- Mercury offers versatile event notification. It will notify you when you are deleted from a contact list, when someone begins typing a message to you, and when someone closes a window.
- Great for getting back in touch with people
- One of the most heavily touted features of this client
Articles must be neutral in tone and any claims must be backed by independent verifiable sources.
The article was tagged twice as an advertisement before I speedied it. It was a good idea to have a disadvantages section, but if you recreate, you need to make the rest of the article more neutral and encyclopaedic and verifiably reference any claims. Jimfbleak 06:20, 16 October 2007 (UTC)
