Welcome!

Hello, Cralb821, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome!

One note: Please do not blanket-revert without discussing on an article's talk page. This can be considered edit-warring. Your blanket-revert at Rango (2011 film) goes against consensus discussion on various WP:FILM talk pages and violates WP:INDISCRIMINATE. It's understood that this account is new and has only bee editing since December, and that there are many Wikipedia guidelines and policies to take in. The overall rule is to collaborate rather than be contentious. Thank you for understanding, and Happy Wiki'ing. --Tenebrae (talk) 15:13, 8 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You need to please stop cluttering Rango (2011 film) with every non-notable regional award nomination. The Houston Film Critics, for instance, is not a major arts and cultural group by any means. Virtually state and many geographic regions have film critics groups. Only a few of these are notable; per WP:INDISCRIMINATE, we don't list two or three dozen essentially meaningless minor awards in movie articles. --Tenebrae (talk) 22:33, 24 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Greetings. I wanted to let you know that I've undone your edits adding award nominations from various city critics groups to the article for Wreck-It Ralph. I have no doubt you're trying to improve the article, however these awards are, as a whole, non-notable. When dealing with critical assessments of films and other media on Wikipedia, we try to focus on major, notable, nationwide critics. Similarly, when dealing with film awards, we also look at those that are well-known and, again, notable, such as the Academy Awards and Golden Globe Awards. We simply don't need to cover every single city's critics groups; for more details about that, please see this topic.

If you feel, however, that these critics groups are indeed notable, please discuss your thoughts on the article's talk page before attempting to add them back. Thank you for your contributions. --McDoobAU93 20:32, 11 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for December 12[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Your recent edits[edit]

While we appreciate your contributions at Wreck-It Ralph, it is important to note that Wikipedia does not make it a point to cover every local critics' association award presentation. The VAST majority of these associations are not notable, thus they are effectively no different than finding people on the street who say the film should win Best Picture. If you believe they should be covered, please discuss on the talk page for the article and build consensus towards your way of thinking. Thank you. --McDoobAU93 00:37, 11 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

December 2013[edit]

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to List of awards and nominations received by Leonardo DiCaprio. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Toddst1 (talk) 03:58, 14 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
