Welcome[edit]

Hello, Crunchwrap and welcome to Wikipedia! It appears you are participating in a class project. If you haven't done so already, we encourage you to go through our training for students. Go through our online training for students

If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Please also read this helpful advice for students.

Before you create an article, make sure you understand what kind of articles are accepted here. Remember: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and while many topics are encyclopedic, some things are not.

Your instructor or professor may wish to set up a course page, and if your class doesn't already have one please tell your instructor about that. It is highly recommended that you place this text: {{Educational assignment}} on the talk page of any articles you are working on as part of your Wikipedia-related course assignment. This will let other editors know this article is a subject of an educational assignment and aid your communication with them.

We hope you like it here and encourage you to stay even after your assignment is finished! SPF121188 (talk this way) (contribs) 19:37, 7 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Abolition Feminism requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Abolition Feminism[edit]

Hi @Crunchwrap, A quote in the article Abolition Feminism triggered a plagiarism alert, and despite there being quotes around the phrase, it's still unsuitable for Wikipedia because of the length of the quote used. In addition, lengthy quotes are generally discouraged on Wikipedia; primary source material like this is suitable for Wikiquote , if it is out of copyright, but not for Wikipedia articles which are meant to summarise what reliable sources say about primary source material like this. Regardless, in this case a quote like this is almost certainly a copyright infringement. I recommend you rewrite the lengthy quotes in your words and find reliable sources to support the text. If you have any questions about this, please let me know and don't forget to ping me. Looping in @Sara.koopman. Brianda (Wiki Ed) (talk) 23:59, 5 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
