ArbCom 2019 election voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2019 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 on Monday, 2 December 2019. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Article of the month – Harley J. Earl Trophy, a good article

The Harley J. Earl Trophy is the trophy presented to the winner of the premier – and season-opening – event of the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR), the Daytona 500. It is named after influential automobile designer Harley Earl, who served as the second commissioner of NASCAR. Earl has been known as the so-called "father of the Corvette" and designer of the Firebird I prototype that adorns the trophy. The trophy is kept on display at the Daytona International Speedway, while a small replica is given to each Daytona 500 winner. (Read more...)

Dylan Kwasniewski (/kwəzˈnɛski/ kwəz-NES-kee; born May 31, 1995) is an American real estate broker and former professional stock car racing driver. A champion in both the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East and Pro Series West, he was a developmental driver for Chip Ganassi Racing. Kwasniewski most recently drove in six races for Obaika Racing in NASCAR's Xfinity Series during the 2015 season, and he currently works as a real estate broker for Colliers International.(Read more...)

1953 French Grand Prix

Hi Cs-wolves. I've noticed you have been adding lap charts to F1 race articles lately and also editing the templates. I don't have the knowhow to do this myself but if you have the time could you make a slight change to the lap chart for 1953 French Grand Prix? For Fangio laps 55-56 and Mike Hawthorn lap 54 the text overlaps a bit making it look rather cluttered (well, there were a lot of lead changes that race...). Thanks. Monthly goal: Focus on the sources. In the thick of Silly Season, it is easy for random people to make a website, perpetuate a rumor, and have that be picked up here. Two sites that have proven to be big on rumors before, and sometimes eating it in a big way, are Beyond the Flag and TobyChristie.com. Please use other sources, such as NASCAR.com, Jayski.com, or team/driver releases as citations in articles. Additionally, there has been a decline in the quality of the new work being generated by the project. New content, related to silly season or not, should always be reliably sourced so we can avoid the ugly {{refimprove}} tags at the top of articles.

The 2010 Emory Healthcare 500 was a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series stock car race that was held on September 5, 2010 at Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton, Georgia. Contested over 325 laps, it was the twenty-fifth race of the 2010 Sprint Cup Series season. The race was won by Tony Stewart, for the Stewart Haas Racing team.
