Welcome![edit]

Hello, Curlyloop19, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may not be retained.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{help me}} on this page, followed by your question, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Questions or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! —C.Fred (talk) 01:06, 30 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Notability[edit]

The issue isn't promotion, it's notability. Please see WP:WEB and WP:NOTE for material on what is and isn't notable. In the meantime, please stop re-creating the article and talkpage. Acroterion (talk) 01:22, 30 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Either find appropriate sources that establish notability or stop re-creating the article. Acroterion (talk) 01:31, 30 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I thought I provided appropriate sources. (Curlyloop19 (talk) 01:34, 30 March 2017 (UTC)).[reply]

As I recall, there were two sources, and one was the magazine itself. That doesn't meet the general notability guidelines. —C.Fred (talk) 01:37, 30 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Self-referencing doesn't establish notability. An article (preferably a couple of articles) in major independent media establishes notability - Wikipedia takes notice of subjects only after the world at large does. Acroterion (talk) 01:41, 30 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

thanks for the tips! (Curlyloop19 (talk) 01:43, 30 March 2017 (UTC))[reply]

Another idea: you can develop the article in peace in your userspace sandbox or in draft space. It can't stay there forever, but it's off to one side for a while. Acroterion (talk) 01:47, 30 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
