Managing a conflict of interest

Hi, Theroadislong, thanks for your note. I read through all of the COI documentation before adding my edits. I thought since they were facts from mainstream news stories, that they would be allowed. I did disclose my affiliation on my user page. Would you be able to tell me if there is another step that I have missed? In the meantime, I have added my edits as requested edits on the page's talk page. Thanks.
