Welcome to Wikipedia

Hello, Cyckath, and welcome to Wikipedia! Wikipedia is one of the world's fastest growing internet sites. We aim to build the biggest and most comprehensive encyclopaedia in the world. To date we have over four million articles in a host of languages. The English language Wikipedia alone has over one million articles! But we still need more! Please feel free to contribute your knowledge and expertise to our site.

If you need help see:

Here are a few more good links for newcomers:

We hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome!

Thanks for your edits on the Minimates article. If you have any questions, feel free to fire 'em my way. EVula 03:40, 10 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Robotech: Shadow Chronicles[edit]

Hey Cyckath, just noticed your edit with respect to Madman getting the rights to districbute Robotech:TSC - good news indeed :). I was wondering though, did they state about what time in 2007 they were releasing it or is the year the only bit of info they have at the moment? --Rambutaan 02:46, 17 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Cyckath 02:52, 17 November 2006 (UTC) didn't go, not in Sydney, so only going on their news article of shows announced at Supanova and it only claims the year.[reply]

Please use edit summaries[edit]

Hello. Please be courteous to other editors and use edit summaries when updating articles. The Mathbot tool shows your usage of edit summaries to be low:

Edit summary usage for Cyckath: 37% for major edits and 70% for minor edits. Based on the last 59 major and 140 minor edits in the article namespace.

Using edit summaries helps other editors quickly understand your edits, which is especially useful when you make changes to articles that are on others' watchlists. Thanks and happy editing! --Kralizec! (talk) 18:00, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
