Ken Davis
Can you help me understand what I need to do to fix this Ken Davis article? In the old days, we used to allow stubs because that's how articles took shape. Now, apparently, people are expecting fully-polished articles before others can start contributing. Cglenn3932 (talk) 19:04, 26 November 2023 (UTC)
- @Cglenn3932: I would recommend adding more reliable sources in order to demonstrate the subject's notability (and possibly a bit more content). Though, in my opinion, I wouldn't have sent the page to draft; since you already provided some sources there and it did look like a valid stub. CycloneYoris talk! 19:18, 26 November 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks. My challenge is that this is an African American businessman and historical prejudice led to his life being less documented than less-notable contemporaries. - @Cglenn3932: Yes, others are still able to access the draft and can help you out if they wish to do so. The good thing about having an article in draftspace is that you have no pressure to finish the article and you can take all the time you need to complete it, without any risk of it getting deleted. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
