Paris, Texas transportation[edit]

Your edit is good, but where do you get that Paris is "lauded as a rural leader in providing reliable public transit"? I can't find that in the citation. Towelbin (talk) 01:08, 19 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, so I am a new editor so I appreciate the feedback! I was attempting to paraphrase or capture the spirit of the Texas Monthly magazine article I cited. See this quote in the subhead: "The East Texas town has maintained a reliable bus route since 2016, providing a model for rural areas with limited transportation."
Is it preferable to do more direct quoting than paraphrasing for something like this? DakaCookies (talk) 14:53, 29 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
yeah I think what you did was right, but I thought it might've been intentionally hyping it up. I rewrote it to have wording a little closer to the article and specify that they said that (since it's not like they're winning awards left and right or anything) Towelbin (talk) 00:56, 10 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
