Information icon Hello, I'm C.Fred. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Marina Diamandis‎‎, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please provide a source showing both the title and release date for her next album.C.Fred (talk) 16:03, 14 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Desamorfosis moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Desamorfosis, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Information icon Thanks for contributing to the article Draft:Lately I Feel Everything. However, one of Wikipedia's core policies is that contributions must be verifiable through reliable sources, preferably using inline citations. Please help by adding more sources to the article you edited, and/or by clarifying how the sources already given support the claims (see here for how to do inline referencing). Disambiguation link notification for February 22[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Motomami, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page James Blake. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Why are you making unsourced articles?[edit]

There is a draft for Familia located at Draft:Familia (Camila Cabello album). I suggest you work on it instead of working on an unsourced article that you only think is notable because the pre-order was put up on Apple Music. Ss112 20:18, 3 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Wow, a YouTube link (not acceptable as a source) and a Spanish radio station as sources. You really went the extra mile. What part of the redirect stating "This is a redirect from a title that is in draft namespace at Draft:Familia (Camila Cabello album), so please do not create an article from this redirect" do you not get? Contribute to the draft. It's already better than anything you've made. Stop being disruptive and restoring your poorly sourced article or an admin will be alerted. Ss112 23:16, 3 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Can you stop? No sources, two sentences and an infobox. Leave article creation to editors who know what they're doing. How many times are you going to make unsourced stub articles? I will inform an admin if you continue doing this. WP:Competence is required to edit Wikipedia. Ss112 20:53, 31 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Panorama (Hayley Kiyoko album)[edit]

Hello, Dangerouspositions,

Thank you for creating Panorama (Hayley Kiyoko album).

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

This article needs reliable sources. Broadcasts, interviews, Twitter and IMDb are not reliable sources. Consider WP:RS and WP:NMUSIC for your guidance.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Whiteguru}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Capitals as stylisation[edit]

MOS:ALLCAPS says Avoid writing with all caps (all capital letters), including small caps (all caps at a reduced size), when they have only a stylistic function. Therefore its irrelevant to mention that all songs were capital on an album. >> Lil-unique1 (talk) — 21:57, 18 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Monotonía has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:NSONG, lacks significant coverage in multiple independent secondary sources. Noting Twitter is not an acceptable or reliable source. Appears to be a case of WP:TOOSOON.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. October 2022[edit]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Monotonía. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. – Joe (talk) 09:33, 20 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The singles from the album El Dorado (Shakira album)[edit]

I see you have been tangling with other editors regarding which singles were released to promote the album El Dorado. The literature paints a picture of the singles starting at "Chantaje", because that's the one where she said she had an album on the way. Before that, "La Bicicleta" was released as an independent single, not associated with any album, not promoting any album. A year later, "La Bicicleta" was included on El Dorado simply because the song was not yet on a Shakira album. Binksternet (talk) 14:31, 7 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

August 2023[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Ss112. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Mañana Será Bonito (Bichota Season), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Ss112 04:06, 11 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

When I Get There moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, When I Get There, is not suitable as written to remain published. ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:55, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Uploading 2,000 × 2,000 pixel JPGs[edit]

You shouldn't waste time even doing this. I would think by this point you would know all non-free album covers are resized by a bot, with your original oversized revision deleted. We also prefer PNGs to JPGs. Wikipedia has restrictions on the size that non-free album covers can be. Your revision has been reverted. Ss112 08:13, 18 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Apologies, I haven't had a full 18 years on wikipedia to study album cover rules like you! I understand now. Dangerouspositions (talk) 19:41, 18 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You don't need to spend 18 years on Wikipedia to get it. You could literally have seen from your upload log every image you've ever uploaded has been deleted. You claim you understand, probably in jest, then you go and revert again. I'd suggest you stop reverting, because you can clearly see the current revision of File:Anitta - Funk Generation.png is not the cover of the EP anymore. If you're still seeing the EP cover, clear your browser's cache. The bottom line is we don't need your JPG, and don't revert again per WP:BRD. Thank you. Ss112 22:55, 18 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
In your three years here, you should have at least stumbled across Template:Infobox album#cover: "To satisfy non-free use criteria, the total number of pixels in the uploaded image for any non-free image (i.e. the width in px × the height in px) should not exceed 100,000 – square images should therefore not exceed 316px (300px is a common choice for square album covers)".
