November 2020[edit]

Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Disha Patani, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Do not dump references in articles that do not support the content. This however was a better addition, I moved it to relevant position. Fylindfotberserk (talk) 10:45, 20 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

December 2020[edit]

Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Kodiveeran. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. bonadea contributions talk 10:39, 22 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did at Ayan (film), you may be blocked from editing. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. [1]

You also need to stop inserting newspaper headlines in Wikipedia articles, like you did in two edits here. A newspaper headline is not written in a factual manner that works in an encyclopedia, and the text doesn't make sense here. It is also a copyright violation to add text straight from a source like that.

Always remember that just because something was published, it does not mean that it is automatically appropriate to add it in Wikipedia. Thank you. bonadea contributions talk 11:52, 23 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Minor Edits[edit]

Information icon Hi Daniel E. McClain! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. defcon5 (talk) 06:20, 8 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
