Hello, Dannyman. I have removed your recent addition to the page Hypercorrection. In the linguistic literature I am familiar with hypercorrection describes a speech phenomena or (rarely) a reflection of such a phenomenon in writing. The type of word processor over-correction you describe would not meet this definition.
