Falkland Islands Wolf[edit]

Hi, your recent additions to the Falkland Islands Wolf article look helpful, but without references they are subject to deletion. Can you add some references or ask for help doing so if you know where you found the material but are not sure how to add citations? Put a note on the article's talk page if you need help. Thanks. μηδείς (talk) 21:04, 21 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Falkland Islands Wolf[edit]

I was about to post here when User:Medeis resorted to edit warring to restore your content. Let me first of all say, most of it is not a problem. However, your comments on its origins are dated and contradicted by modern material. DNA evidence has shown it is not related to canids on the mainland. You also need to source your material to a reliable source per WP:V and WP:RS, if you need help with that I would be glad to advise. Wee Curry Monster talk 21:57, 21 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

See [1], which explains it rather well. Although there is a common ancestor the lineages separated before canids of either lineage entered either South America or the Falkland Islands. This also disprove the origins of the Warrah were from visits by the Yaghan peoples. Wee Curry Monster talk 22:37, 21 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

August 2011[edit]

Please do not add or change content without verifying it by citing reliable sources, as you did to Roloway monkey et al. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you.
Hello, as per the note above, I came across your additions to several articles where you have introduced whole swathes of text without a single reference, I have removed all that you added at Steller's sea cow and created a special subpage in my user pages to keep the text, in case you haven't kept a copy.
Please read at least "How to develop articles" above and the "Manual of Style" pertaining to titles and capitalization. You appear to be enthusiastic and knowledgeable but large additions of unsourced / unverifiable information are likely to be deleted, and also creat large amounts of work for other editors. Extinct animals[edit]

I see that you have an interest in extinct animals. Please take a look at how articles are presented, when facts/claims are presented they are sourced to a reference. Your edits are problematic because you add whole paragraphs of text without adding proper sources (or any sources at all). Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia and it is collaborative. As suggested above, you should make suggestions on the talk pages of the articles concerned and get help from other editors as to the best way in which to present the information, and also how to reference it. Thank you. CaptainScreebo Parley! 12:09, 22 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Copyright Violations[edit]

I am now in the process of reverting your recent contributions as I have found you have been cutting'n'pasting text from other websites. This is a WP:COPYVIO and strictly forbidden by wikipedia's policies. Please desist from further actions of this nature. Wee Curry Monster talk 12:12, 22 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

September 2011[edit]

Please do not add or change content without verifying it by citing reliable sources, as you did to Ankole-Watusi (cattle). Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Charles (talk) 20:57, 3 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
