To elaborate, I still feel like the articles are on the same essential topic based on my reading of the sources, and they probably could be covered in the same article. That said, you also make a good case for why they should be separate topics, and I don't believe in keeping articles out of mainspace over what's essentially a content disagreement, especially since you're more familiar with the topic than I am. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
