March 2008[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to L. Ron Hubbard, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. --GoodDamon 14:56, 15 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to L. Ron Hubbard. Your edits appeared to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Cirt (talk) 01:36, 21 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

July 2008[edit]

I am now counting further edits as vandalism. Please read the discussion on talk, which decided to remove this. If you disagreed, you should have started a discussion on talk, not continued to revert. As another editor on the talk said "It is hard to see how the anecdote about Preston on NMTB could possibly be seen to meet the criteria laid down in Five Pillars of Wikipedia. There seems to be fairly general agreement above that this is trivial, and it should therefore be removed". It is not just me who thinks this is trivia. You behaviour is quite unacceptable. Having only done under 30 edits this year, I would not expect you to understand all the ins and outs of Wikipedia, but you should know that if something is contraversial, it should be discussed. This happended some time, and an agreement was reached. If you disagree, start a new discussion. Until then the page should remain as it is. And even if the incident were to worthy mention, it would certainly not do so in its own section. One minor incident on a game show is not worthy of a whole section. Wikipedia is not a news or celebrity gossip site. I would ask you not to make further edits unless a new agreement has been reached on talk.--UpDown (talk) 12:37, 22 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I am very disappointed that you have totally ignored the above. Celebrity Big Brother is largely what made him marginally famous, this incident did not. It is nothing to do with neutrality, but trivial information. If you continue to revert I will consider getting an admin involved. I ask you again to leave the page and start a discussion.--UpDown (talk) 13:08, 22 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
