Propesting/Fauxtesting[edit]

Hi David, I see that you based your vote on Wikipedia:Votes for deletion/Fauxtest on the belief that these were "widespread" or independent events. I forgot to make it clear in the deletion nomination that all these events are coordinated through a single forum on the Something Awful Forums. silsor 16:24, Nov 22, 2004 (UTC)

Ah, OK. The article gave me the impression that they were independent, but I should have paid more attention to your reasons :-)
I've changed my vote. David Johnson 16:38, 22 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Thanks for the response--all the more extraordinary because you must have had to hunt for my name in the talk page's history list. It's been a few weeks now and I feel more confident (I was very new to Wiki at the time) so I'll probably bang out a template of like this over the weekend. Thanks for the encouragement. --Tony Sidaway|Talk 16:39, 9 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Baumann article[edit]

I certainly agree that small articles are worthy of expansion, but the one in question doesn't even qualify as a substub. Take away the birth dates and you're left with Wikipedia's only three-word article.  :^) I did leave word on the user's page encouraging him to expand it. - Lucky 6.9 01:19, 10 Dec 2004 (UTC)

It may be a short and useless article, but that doesn't make it a speedy deletion candidate (at least not yet; it is listed as a proposed case). Especially since a quick check showed that the person is notable and worth having an article on. Its been there about 15 minutes and somebody has already expanded it into a substub. Give it a day and it'll probably be at least a stub. David Johnson [T|C] 01:26, 10 Dec 2004 (UTC)
