I saw your feedback here. The page you saw when you signed up is this one. But those lists of articles are actually quite out of date, so I have two alternative suggestions:

• Visit the Wikipedia:Community portal and scroll down to the box headed "Help out". There is wide variety of tasks and skills listed there.
• Visit the Directory of WikiProjects and find a subject area that interests you. As a random example, Wikipedia:WikiProject Contract bridge is the co-ordination page for editors interested in improving Wikipedia's coverage of that card game, and the page has lists of articles requiring various kinds of improvement. -- John of Reading (talk) 07:49, 21 April 2012 (UTC)
