AfD nomination of Robert Musgrave[edit]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Robert Musgrave. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Robert Musgrave. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:10, 30 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Robert Musgrave, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. ~~ GB fan ~~ talk 02:39, 12 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion of Robert Musgrave[edit]

Please read Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Robert Musgrave. If you don't want the article deleted, you need to add reliable sources that provide significant coverage of him. IMDB/Fandango are not enough to save the article. This section of the notability guidelines for people explain what the criteria is for an actor having an article. At this point it does not appear that Robert Musgrave meets these guidelines. If you have any questions let me know. ~~ GB fan ~~ talk 13:04, 12 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Another suggestion. If you want to work on creating the article you can work on it in your userspace and then when you have developed the article it can be moved back into the mainspace. If you click on User:Decide4u/Robert Musgrave, you can create the article in your userspace and spend more time on it to show notability. If you continue to create the article the way you are it will continue to be deleted and could lead to blocks for disruption. I do not want that to happen to you. As always, if you have any questions let me know. I have this page on my watchlist so you can post the question here and I will come back and answer it. ~~ GB fan ~~ talk 15:43, 12 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Adding an additional source that only confirms that he exists and performed in some movies does not say that he is notable. If he is notable you need to show with reliable sources how he meets any notability guidelines. It has been decided that the article as it stands does not meet notability guidelines. By recreating the same article again you are treading very close to being blocked for disruption. Please stop recreating the article, please talk about it. ~~ GB fan ~~ talk 22:39, 13 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Robert Musgrave, a page you created, has not been edited in 6 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 02:09, 11 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Decide4u. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Robert Musgrave".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Robert Musgrave}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save page", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 20:01, 10 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
