Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. The article 1001 Internet Jokes II has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable book

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. bonadea contributions talk 09:51, 12 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Status and Advice[edit]

As reviewing administrator, I declined to delete the article on Robert Joseph Greene, but sent it for AfD to get a community decision. My own guess is that the most likely notability will be because of the censorship controversy about This High School has Closets While checking, I also noticed the GTG, above, and listed it similarly. I recognize he limitation of judging by library holdings; the best way to defend these articles would be with reviews of the books. There are lots of Reliable places where they might be published. re Thank you...[edit]

Cirt, I don't know how to send you a private message. I see you trying to be fair and supportive when others are not. I feel that I am before an audience that makes LGBT community work twice as hard to keep their materials on Wikipedia. In my opinion, it's a flawed system at best that skews towards a majority. However, you are (to me) the only ray of sunshine is all of this terrible experience. You may delete this if you wish but I just didn't want you to walk away not knowing that all the good karma that you do here doesn't go unoticed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Desaderal (talkcontribs)

Response to comment at village pump[edit]

Hi Desaderal. I just wanted to let you know that I and another person have responded to your question at the village pump permalink We would like to encourage you to bring your concerns to others by posting them at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Editor Retention and also at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject LGBT studies. It is important for the community here at Wikipedia to know when it is failing its volunteer editors. We would like to know how we can improve the situation. Thanks for volunteering here at the project. Kind regards. 64.40.54.118 (talk) 02:54, 15 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
